The longer your walk, the easier it becomes and then those moments you won’t recognize as painful and dark in the way they are now. They just become moments. Like a fully healed scar. You can talk about it, poke it, pull, pick and it’s just skin, there’s nothing residual there. They will solely become glorious moments with the Lord. Catholic here and what he said about being not really encouraged to read the word is also true for me. Emphasis was more on observance of religious rites/rituals, sacraments etc., attending mass. Etc llukewarm Christianity.

This could help train your appetite for the word. Also tone down on music and movies that are not bible related. Focus on godly contents and you find yourself drawn to the word. Reach out to get some godly content and book that will help you.

Amen. But you have to work on keeping a steady feet on the path of righteousness. Prv 4:6 Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. You may have to look back at what led you to drift. Ask God to give you a change of heart on that matter. You must allow Him work on it so that when it wont happen again. To prevent a tree from growing you must uproot it, not cut the branches.

I know a guy that crashed his motorcycle at 200MPH and walked away from the accident. His bike was in little pieces stretched over half a mile. He says God hates him and doesn't thank God at all for his life. The man in this video thanks God for a bed that lifts his sick wife up and down gently. He acknowledges such a simple thing he didn't know he would need as a miracle of God, and look at the effect it has on his life. Be grateful to God. Though we struggle in a corrupt world, God is good. Life is a gift, and eternal life is the gift for those who are grateful for God's grace.

This breaks my heart because my husband has had no spuritual or Godly raising at all. And he has a lot of anger as well and he said he LIKES TO FEEL ANGRY..THAT IT FEELS GOOD. And that really disturbs me. Ive trief for yeard to get him to understand we need a RELATIONSHIP with God and he literally just DOESNT GET IT.
