Don't Laugh At Me is actually an original done by Mark Wells many years ago. You need to do your research and give credit to the correct artist when listening to a song. You're a naive child that only sees what she wants to see. There is so many songs that are remakes out there. Do better.

As someone who's always been against bullying and who became a fan of Mark through hearing this song in elementary school, I was so happy to see Home Free join Mark to create a new version. This song sends a message that really needs to be heard these days, and I can't think of anyone better than Mark and the guys to send it.

Hell ya! I'm a grown @ss man and this still brings me to tears because of the bulliying I witnessed and to a slightly lesser extent , I experienced(only lesser because I was a bigger fella in f9-10th grades, HS and difficult and fiesty to give a "Swirly" etc/ that's where a couple/few upperclass guys try to tip you upside down in a school bathroom toilet stall and dunk your head in the toilet and then Flush the toilet hence the name swirly'!! As much as I could Itried to step in to stop instances of upperclassmen attempting swirlies, and attemtiing to stuff a Fresh/soph into a dirty filled garbage can etc. This is one of the reasons I never went to any class reunions because of the indifference and common accepantancte of this prevalent bullying bahavior!Sure we were all young andintimaded but c'mon now! No saying I was perfect but I tried where I could without being beat by upperclassmen.

Schnell, there is SOOOO much to unpack here.... First, this is a song by Mark Wills, he released it in July 1998 and it went to #2 on the Billboard Country Charts...Its Very important to check out the Original Video... Second, the girl that comes in at the end and sings is Marks daughter Macey... Third, Nate Simon (the boy) is actually the CEO of 21 Pineapples and that is why he said "Let's change the world together one funky shirt at a time!" be sure to check his website out as well.... As a neurodivergent parent of a neurodivergent child, I've not seen the problem of bullying improve a bit in an entire generation 😢 but I wholeheartedly appreciate Mark Wills and Home Free for spotlighting the issue. This topic--and song--always make me cry...my heart hurts for our kids 💔

Home Free's messages are always about love, acceptance, and inclusiveness, and I love that they use their platform to spread and share those messages. Those things are the only things that can ever beat separation, hate and pain, and the more we get of it the better this world becomes. They are truly singing angels ❤️🥰🙏 Kids don't suddenly invent bullying, they catch it from the adults around them and society, and often the adults and society don't even realise they are being bullies. I was a single, teenage mom and looking back I see how I was looked down upon by authorities and the world around me, and how I was treated in a less respectful way than older parents and couples were, and even though I didn't really think I cared what they thought changed me, gave me feelings of being less worthy and not being good enough. I didn't fit in their boxes and they didn't like it. It affected my life negatively and it affected my son negatively, and it took 30 years until I realised it and was able to change how I look and feel about myself. And that was adults and society that did that, my friends were all cool and supportive, as was my family. Home Free's upcoming album, So Long Dixie, is just a warm, loving embrace. They dropped another song from it yesterday, Save the World, written by Austin and featuring Austin and it's got a couple of instruments in it as well. That's another thing I love about them, they step outside of the box, they break the rules, gently in ways that don't hurt anyone, and they show that we don't have to stay in the boxes, whether we, someone else, or society put us in it. Just do what we want to do, and do it with love, and don't let what anyone else thinks affect you. Thanks, Schnell. 🙏❤️

One thing I want to say to you all regarding people with Down Syndrome, DON'T assume they are not intelligent. There are MANY people with Down Syndrome that are treated like they are mentally challenged when their intelligence is within normal range. There are even DS people that have above average intelligence yet they are treated like they are dumb. Don't do that. Treat them like any other person.

If you like sentimental songs, I could tell you would want to see some of the very famous commercials of “JOLLIBEE” it’s a very popular Fast food in the Philippines that has become part of the culture of most Filipinos from the early 80’s up to the present time. Sorry, Mark did not write this song. It was written by Steve Sesken and Allen Shamblin and beautifully performed by the incomparable Peter Paul and Mary on their album "Songs of Conscience and Concern" released in 1999. Beautiful song and much needed.
