I truly believe this performance is going to live on for many many generations. I've heard many Therapists are showing this to their patients. One person I heard say that he was staying in a mental institute for a few months and another patient showed it to him. People who are sick with chronic illness, mental health issues, or just having a rough time in their life at the moment... this song does something special to you. It gives validation. It gives HOPE. It sounds so freaking corny, but this song changed my whole LIFE and I feel so much better. I honestly have to thank Ren for that. Thank you for reacting to this song.

So many lines throughout this piece of art therapy hit home for me, and i deeply appreciate when reactors allow themselves to live in the emotions that this evokes. The first time i heard "the voice that you hear when you loosen the noose on the rope" I had to pause, and walk away. I spent over 30 years trying to tie that metaphorical noose, even though that was just about the only way I never considered attempting it. I have listened to this song, and watched reactions to it over 100 times by now, and every time that line comes by I get chills around my neck. It's been several years now since I've had the desire to delete myself because I got older, and I stopped trying to fight with myself. I relaxed and finally embraced who I am. The end result is my children still love me, but they like me better, friends I've had for 35+ years say that I'm happier, and more relaxed than they've ever seen me, and I'm getting to see my children grow into the amazing adults that they're becoming.

Today he found out his last 8 months if antibiotic treatments didn't kill the co infection Bartonella . His health started slippung again. Si end if Ict he will be puttibg his life on payse again to return ti Canada for more months of stronger more debilating treatments . The man is a warrior. New sub here. I love the idea of 30 days of Ren (and am already smiling knowing there's no way you'll stop after day 30, Ren has that effect on folks). He's the one artist who can get you in your feels with many of his songs (not just sad feelings), but has so many of his songs (most) have a strong message one can take from it. I'm sure it's been suggested to do the One Million Viewers/Success video from Ren (it's a fantastic way to get to know the man he is); Troubles is a song that can give you insight to his health struggles. He's the most open artist I've come across and even if he wasn't, I'd still be a die-hard Renegade because of his art/music, but his sharing has made me feel like he's family because his sharing his life has made me care for him and his future. He is unique and I'm a huge fan.

There is one other artist that they remind me of each other. Not so much in rap stay and music but attitude, work ethic, views on the music industry and over all just being an open book and that is Ryan Upchurch.

Please go down the ren rabbit hole. Join the renegades. He calls his style bardcore telling stories like the bards/minstrels of old. The musical style itself is incredibly varied and he is incredibly talented. When you start a ren song you never know what you are going to get except that it's going to be exceptional. He completely real and raw. Ren backstory in clip notes. He is a busker from Wales though has lived for a long time in Brighton England (that's his accent). His busking background has helped him with his live one take music videos (nearly all are live one takes, and the older ones with a tiny budget and extremely cheap microphone). He was signed by Sony in his late teens but he became very ill and the contract ended. Since then he has and is a completely independent artist. When he became very ill the doctors misdiagnosed him with a plethora of mental health conditions. The mixture of the harmful wrong treatment and continual non treatment of his actual condition culminated in being physically bedbound, incredible physical suffering, and psychosis. He was finally correctly diagnosed with lymes disease and autoimmune conditions that have left him with brain damage. He is still getting treatment. I recommend tale of jenny and screech full (its 3 songs one music video), chalk outlines, money game parts 1, 2 (lyrics video), 3 and blind eyed (personally recommend ft angry parking first then other versions). Before watching kujo beat down need some background, he has a video but I'm sure otherwise quick Google search would do enough. For inspiration watch his reaction to 1 million subscribers. I, like so many renegades watch reaction videos to him a lot a lot so he's worth reacting. Enjoy the journey!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I just saw your Hi Ren reaction, and put this journal entry of Ren's as my comment to that reaction. jAN 01, 2023~~~rEN~ Up until I was 9 years old, I would intermittently hear a voice in my head that was not my own. The voice was distinctly different to mine, and always negative. It would self criticize or urge me to do things I knew to be morally wrong. The most peculiar thing about the voice was that it took no effort on my behalf to produce. My own thoughts always felt like there was a process that required effort to bring them to the forefront of my mind, this voice appeared as though it was spoken by another. The sentences felt predetermined like they had already been constructed. I remember very vividly at 9 years old, becoming very frustrated with the voice. I stood in my back yard, internally screaming at the voice to be silent again and again, and it did. In a flash there was silence, to the point where my head felt like an empty room. I wasn't used to the quiet and that voice never returned. It almost felt lonely in my head. When I got older I had intermittent bouts with auditory hallucinations where I would hear perfect symphonies, usually at night when drifting off to sleep. They were so clear that they sounded like they were emanating from a radio in the corner of my room. I knew they weren't there, but for some reason they never came with the feeling of fear. I also recall sitting on a bus at the age of 15, and hearing the sound of a crowded room, with about 100 voices chattering away, I was the only person apart from the driver on the bus. These experiences were always very brief, and few and far between. My last hallucination was during an intense bout of psychosis in 2015, and was my first visual hallucination. I was walking down a pavement after jumping out my mums car in a crossroads in a moment of frustration and distress with my condition. I was trying to run from myself. What appeared to be a homeless man with a dark complexion approached me, and asked me what was wrong. I explained that I had been sick most my life, and I wasn't sure I had the strength to continue. He looked at me, and smiled and told me 'everything is going to be okay in the end Ren.' I had not told him my name. There was something so overpoweringly sincere about this very simple message, which brought with it an overwhelming feeling of inner peace, and in a flash, he vanished. My rational brain always linked these experiences to what the doctors have told me, that there are parts of my brain compromised by the autoimmunity in my body. That the myelin sheaths surrounding the complex electrical system that conduct my thoughts were damaged and compromised, causing these lucid experiences that I knew did not exist inside the physical world. The part of me that edges away from logical and rational thought always attributed these thoughts to some kind of otherworldly intervention, that made my thoughts the battleground of some spiritual tug of war. For a long time I never really acknowledged this part of myself, for with it brought the danger and stigma of sounding like a crazy person. I decided with my latest release, to the best of my ability, to capture and express this chess match of thought. Hi Ren comes out in just over 24 hours. I can't wait for you all to hear it.

My boy Ren here, from just along the coast from me, is the only artist who pulled my head out from the pigeon hole of Band-Maid...got my attention with this...this piece of Theatre 🔥👊 Just awesome...I had to buy his hip hop album Sick Boi. I've spent the last few months watching the many reactions to "Hi Ren". There is a common feeling with all of them (obviously). This is such a powerful message that it has struck a chord with so many people. A true masterpiece of music, art and poetry. Respect, Ren. Epic reaction! Dude, if you could go look at any of the other hundreds of Hi Ren reactions, and just read through comments, this song has changed our souls. We now all know that we aren’t alone. We are all only human beings. And as millions of comments have been written, we live in each other. We empathize. We connect. It is impossible to describe. But I f I could count the number of people, who literally stepped off the edge of suicide becasue if Ren and Hi Ren. We have all watched this dozens and dozens and dozens of times. Our favorite hobby is witnessing newbies find Ren. The emotions that Ren brings out in you guys is all the same! There won’t be a more loved song in 10 years ! Just wait til you watch he 1 million subscribers video, and seeing him, being the genuine person we all dream of, takes the respect you have for him to a different level! In my opinion….the next songs I would just into a couple that show he is a world renowned singer that you can’t wrap your mind around, with “Esrned it/Mans World,” and you will find out why the top Rap Reaction KZbinrs literally call him a GOAT or top three rapper of all time with “The Hunger,” another one take video with a production that is perfection. I’m so pumped you are getting the chance to allow Ren to change your world, becasue he is going ti!!

Hi Ren is an absolute masterpiece. Honestly, his entire body of work is. So many genres, so much talent, so much skill and SO MUCH HEART.
