This ONE Item Will Make You MILLIONS of Gold in The War Within! I think we've found the big money maker item. You can't craft it, but there is a way to generate more using professions. Let's get into it!

As of the new hotfix that came out a few days ago, the profaned tinderbox is now purchasable through delve dropped delve items. This has completely changed the pricing on many of the AH items in the game. Hope you all were able to take advantage of the high selling prices while they lasted!

My best money making AH item was in Dragonflight. I farmed flavor pockets on 30 alts and sold them after all my toons were equipped with them. 70-100k each. I could get 6 toons per feast through the quest once they improved the ticks to include "Yes Chef" and chef order completions. Got 4-7 each week for months. Going to miss that farm.

People are not gonna create work orders for alloys. They are just gonna buy them.

Good point. Maybe there should be an incentive for people to make work orders for items that can be easily bought in the auction house?

Profaned Tinderbox is an Reagent, so it is region wide AH, not server. Also there is no double dipping with Crafting Orders from your alt. Resourcefulness procs on orders goes to crafter, multicraft procs goes to requestor of the order. You will get the same Res/Multi results if you just craft it without an order, with Res proc Reagents back in your bag aswell as the Alloy. Free resources are only on someone elses orders, don't see the double dip here. Otherwise nice vid, thanks for that.

Thanks for the info on the AH situation. Please check my pinned comment as I realized that I made a mistake about sending crafting orders from an alt and how it's not necessary (and hence yes, there's no double dipping. Plus I was referring to a different kind of double dip but it's not really double dipping anyways). Always check pinned comments before commenting please. Will save us both a lot of time. In all simulations, multicraft comes out ahead, because not only do you need resourcefullness to procc, it will also give you a random item back, not always the tinderboxes. You get A LOT Flux back. Multicraft however can not only give you one item extra, but multiple. Crafting sanctified alloy can procc up to 5 Bonus items. In general you get more items procced than the percentage would suggest. Resourcefullness give about 30-40% of one or more items when it proccs. Not sure how this is coded. On that Note, later in the game, when you have maxed out more than one specialization and have plenty of Artisan Acuity you should consider to have multiple profession tools because resourcefullness is indeed better for stuff like weapons and armor as multicraft cannot procc there. For the start however I went deep into multicraft only for alloys. Many did. That's why alloys are way less expensive on the auction house than their materials and their prices would suggest.

PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTING!: So @wujke9580 had a good point that I wanna pin. You don't need to send the work order to your other character. You might as well just get the mats, make the thing with your character that has blacksmithing. I think I got caught up in the whole "sending work orders" idea and it just kinda came out that way. But yea, no need to do it unless you're trying to complete your weekly work order quest. DOUBLE DIPPING: I was referring to the idea that you would be mats back from having a high Resourcefullness % and your alt would get the crafted items...but look, I'm tired, I wasn't thinking. That's not double dipping because you could have just done all of that on one character.

Resourcefulness procs from crafting orders for all armors should net you with : x1 Storm-Touched Weapon Wrap and / or 2x Sanctified alloys and /or x3 Ironclaw alloy. For weapons : x1 Storm-Touched Weapon Wrap and / or x1 Null stone and / or 2x Sanctified alloys and /or x3 Charged alloys and even Super beast fang. Not so bad if you specialize into weapon/armor smithing and craft for others, you could be able to sell back those mats.

Whats the reason for sending crafting order from your alt instead of simply crafting on your blacksmithing guy?

You’ve got a good point there. I think I got caught up in the moment while making the video and the whole idea about sending crafting orders became the main focus in my head. Yea, good point. No need to do it now that I’m thinking about it. Unless you’re using that as your weekly crafting quest but that’s about it.
