Lennard-kl Actually that's exactly what it means. However, meta gaming is a bit different even though it is technically the same. As Jatt said, it's the most effective tactic available that is currently perceived. So it might not literally be the best. It's the best that people know about.

I liked ardent meta at worlds. It creates tense games and puts emphasis on ADC's and gave long needed glory to supports.

funny thing is that Urgot was even stronger especially in laning phase right after his rework last year before his changes to his passive. not as strong in lane after those changes but a much better team fighter at level 13 and up. Plus he was able to build steraks before that item became exclusive to melee champs and frozen mallet had more slow for range champs before the slow was cut in half.

C9 definitely a bigger wild card. Gambit almost beat them. When gambit was the weakest team in the knockout stage. Plus INF was actually a good team, they beat edg once. And G2 beat team in 4 games only. People only look at game 4 but game 3 was a actually stomp by G2.

honestly, i suppose he has c9 doin it. i myself was very close to put them ahead of genG. C9 has shown time and time again, that when it matters the most, they can perform. And also, GenG really didnt show the greatest of performances lately. yes, they made it through the region qualifier, but lets be honest, who was there really left for them to beat? A terrible Kingzone that, after losing to RNG at MSI, never found there true form again? A griffin, that just wasn't used to such big expectations and pressure? and lets not even talk about SKT, right? to me, GenG still is a top3 teams at worlds, but IF an NA team not named TL upsets someone and makes it ouf of groupstage, it'll probably be C9 and not the thiefs.

i agree, but still i just think that ultimately, griffin was poised not to go to worlds. just compare it to Origen in 2015. 4/5 of their roster back then was used to the pro scene and went to worlds at least one. that the total opposite to griffin even though they came into contention in the very same way only qualifying in summer and having to go to the regional qualifier because they lost the finals in 5 games. that's what broke griffin but was no problem at all for origen
