Watching from Seattle, USA! As a single mother it almost makes me cry watching this. Its so hard to find time for yard work and eventually it get ao far gone you dont even jnow where to start. You are changing their lives and giving them back a peaceful place for her family or possibly grandkids someday.

Honestly this is potentially like one of those life changing good deeds. Kids now have a safe space to play while tierd mum can rest or get on with things knowing her kids are safe. I’ve got 5 acres of land all looking like this, I’ve been chipping away at it trying to restore it to its natural beauty, woodland, big pond, streams, paddocks.. all with a 8ft high blanket of brambles, thistles and nettles covering the lot. It’s a mission but I love it so much. Absolutely loving these vids, you give me motivation to continue.

Just found your channel. In answer to your questions: 1. The two of you seem to have fun together so working together would be ideal; 2. I prefer the artificial tree, I am old and it is easier to set up a tree with lights, no watering required and my cats don't climb it. It also saves a tree every year.... win - win.

I really love the smell of a real Christmas tree, but since I live in a mobile home, I use an artificial tree….and I just use a pine scented incense or candle. Something I can watch while it’s burning and put out to reduce the chance of a house fire….

Power Washing would brighten it a lot when done. Looks nice as you get order put in. The yard is improving as you thin and remove surplus growth. Light and space can occur and it is a much better appearance. Appreciate your friend Gary helping get through it all. Haven't met him before.

So good to see you, Gary! I have a potted Christmas tree. I acclimate it for a couple of weeks before bringing it into the heated house then acclimate it to transition it out. I get a new one every five or six years and plant the old one…cheaper, no disposal issues, plant a tree every so often.
