The detail on the polar bear is unreal. The eyes the nose. And the detail on the fur. Wow. I could go on all day. And I love the Aurora borealis sky behind him. I'm gobsmacked. Don't ever give up painting you are so gifted. Thank you for this. The 87 hours you put into it and the work it took was all so well worth it. I paint but I'm nowhere near your level. One day I hope. By far my favorite you've done. I love seeing a different animal than your normal big cat or elephant. I'd really like to see you do some more underwater creatures like manatees, whales, octopus, sharks or other African widelife like rhinos, giraffes, flamingos, crocs etc.

@@StudioWildlife i did see the turtle. It was beautiful. (I haven't seen the shark but I'm gonna check it out now) That's why I said I wanted to see more because I know you can do it. However I know what a difficult challenge it would be since your real gift is painting hair and skin texture and most underwater creatures are hairless. Maybe an otter or seal would stand up better to your style and expertise. Though I think you could do an amazing alligator/crocodile with all their skin textures. I totally understand most draw what they like or what shows off their talents the most, all while knowing these need to appeal to buyers too. I hope you don't see my comment as criticism or judgement. I think you are an amazing artist that has worked very hard to perfect their craft. I love your work either way but I'd love to see you branch out more.

When using oil paint, wait till it’s dried to the touch then paint a layer of the medium you choose. Whether it’s linseed or Liquin. This helps even out the pigment of the paint, that way it all looks like fresh coat of paint though out. This also helps with light balance when taking a photo or a video. Happy painting and keep up the amazing work.
