Also Guilford lake state park is very nice in the warmer weather months. A pontoon boat rental is available at Mark’s Landing restaurant around the other side of the lake from the campground. We love camping in both Ohio and Michigan state parks. We have a 2018 32 ft long Jayco travel trailer.

Yeah, it was tight! Our Wraith has a great turn radius but geeze there was no good way to get around this campground. The cul-de-sacs at the ends were even tighter... Can't imagine being here with a full park!

Hi Mike. I serviced and installed doors and openers for over 10 years. You can always use one size larger capacitor but not a smaller one. Nice job.

I have been following you two since the Airstream days. I went out and bit the bullet and bought a 2009 Coachman Concord 32' Class C with only 40000 miles. Its not a Super C buts its my first RV. Layla (my dog) and I are looking forward to some spring, summer and fall camping. Winter camping is out in the Ottawa area because our winters get down to -20 to -30 celcius. Hoping for a quick recovery for you Mike and bikini season for Lynn 😁Stay safe

Over the years I've had to replaced many motor start capacitors. Often close is good enough, but I retain the original so that is always have it for reference otherwise it's easy to say close enough there next few times and end up with a capacitor that is a non functional vastly different value. Garage doors lifted, air conditioners compressor and large fan motors are commonly in need of replacement start capacitors.

When in doubt change the capacitor out first haha more often than not, it'll fix it!

When I was in school many many years ago we were told the reason glass window pains have that appearance is because glass many years ago would actually melt to a point. It was something about how glass was made. I'll see if I can find any actual information on that.

Yeah old glad has a wave to it. That's how the windows were in the old farm house I grew up in. We weren't sure if they had the different glass on purpose so people could see inside or if they couldn't find the old glass to replace broken pane

Make sure when taking out capacitors that you discharge it. If you put a finger or you touch both terminals to your body by accident it will hurt and if a high amp capacitor it could cause severe injury. Pour some water in a spot on the ground, then using a pair of thick gloves, poke the terminals in the damp ground.

As for the sun shower there is a thing that is sold a boating stores that is called a sun shower. It's basically a bag with a shower head on the end that you heat in the sun and then take a shower with it. Keep the good stuff coming guys.

We investigated the sun shower later in the video. I've seen people bring their own shower tents but I've never seen a building or heard it called a sun shower haha overall it was a great trip and happy to be back at it!

The CAP replacement should really match so as not to damage something else downstream. Recommend putting the “right one” in when it arrives and storing the overnight one as emergency backup. I used many that size in my EE Motors classes. Burned up a motor or two with wrong capacitors. Especially on long duty cycles.

2 questions for you guys...What GPS are you using? We've been using googlemaps and our phones but it has taken us a few places I would rather not be in a 40ft motorhome... I've been thinking about buying an RV specific GPS just for the routing. and... How do you keep your lines from freezing and how are you dealing with heat (space heaters / gas furnace) winter camping? Our class A feels terrible under insulated for winter temps in OH.

The GPS is a Garmin but it's not specific to RVs/trucks. With Mike's background as a truck driver he's more familiar with just following road signs and an Atlas. Haha we have it just as a basic guide for ETA. Because our RV is on a truck chassis the water lines are all inside the body, and our fresh water tank is under our bed. The black and gray tanks are in the dump bay and we added an outlet and space heater for when it's cold. We heat almost exclusively with electric heaters and the furnace only kicks on if it's super cold/windy. We've camped down to 0F regular air temp without issues
