Definitely more excited for AI Dino’s. The player base in these games just pick a spot to mass congregate and chat and duel. Atleast with the AI I can actually go out and roleplay a dinosaur and not a daycare.

same here. I can see the 200 player servers doing well for a little while until crater ends up going back to looking more like the colosseum than it already is lol. But with ai dinos, we finally have a reason to actually go out into the world and explore without needing to worry about getting bored or starving due to lack of other players. Hoping we can put them in our solo servers too.

that's the problem of PoT, players use it as a a chat with dinos, and you can't do things like hunting or the whole area will go to attack you

AI imo is the most important new addition of all due to is many single and multiplayer applications, this of course heavily depends what the devs do with AI exactly but just to name a few; - Singleplayer actually being fun instead of just a place to test out skins and mods - Small community servers or new community servers will have a far easier time growing or even just existing with a low playerbase - Areas of the map you like the look but are usually dead zones of player activity will be far more enjoyable with AI, even relatively simple AI helps make the map feel more alive and at the very least imo are fun to watch (i.e. AI styracosaurus herd moving about) - AI could be made to be able to join player groups which would make solo players stand a far better chance against groups and even megapacks/herds as not only does it help even the playing field, but AI don't have feelings thus can help said solo player simply use them as meat shields to get away from a threat - people who like mass killing will have a lesser impact on the enjoyment of other players as you can use AI as meat shields - AI could have massive benefits towards the new more entertaining quests the developers are creating - AI could help form PoT's endgame content if combined with nesting, this of course is going to get very speculative but I could see players essentially having the ability to try and nest in and raise as many AI as they can to directly or indirectly assert control over parts of the map and influence how other players play around your offspring/ AI group - AI mini-bosses could be a fantastic addition, such ass elder/ senescent individuals that are slightly larger and substantially stronger than their base playable counterpart

I really hope when AI comes out you can use creator mode to place AI spawners (like how the fish spawners work). I think it’d be fun to make a small fighting ring in single player and make Ai fight to the death.

Im more excited for the terrain update tbh, experiencing true jungle and forestry would be such a thrill to traverse, heightening tension. I just hope this whole thing about getting stuck on a stupid rock or log hidden under a bush ends. So immersion breaking and a turn off to explore thick woodlands due to it.

An automatically rotating Hotzone system would incentivize player movement and bring players together dynamically throughout the map. This would help the game feel more full with less and give ways to speed up the slow questing problem.

PoT working on 200 player servers is great! I’m a plebian that plays in a realism server that’s always stock full in both servers, and due to the rules, people actually migrate all over the map and STILL, I struggle to find anything and anyone. So excited for the possibility of a more alive map.

I would have said 200 playr servers are more exciting, but seeing how a lot of community servers currently don't hit 100 I would say I love what they said with 125 player servers and then AI, that is what I want!

I could honestly care less about 200+ players, I just want around 100 on a server because after that it becomes a bloodbath, Which is fun for solo pvp or friend pvp but it’s basically a sandbox server from legacy the more people join, AI Dino’s IMO is a much bigger achievement.

Honestly i always wished these dino games focused on having more complex AI. Extra players is nice and all but you will always have to contend with mix-packing, grouping becoming so common that solo runs are impractical, and hot-spots making most of the map redundant. Obviously 200 players means the odds of finding players outside of hotspots is higher but it wouldn't surprise me if there were cases where even THEN most of the players were playing dino chat room simulator or doing mindless deathmatch in impact crater + great plains. If they just filled the maps with smarter AI that tried to replicate real animal behavior, they wouldn't need to rely on having more than 100 players to make the world feel alive and give you something to do.

Tbh it'll be the AI dinos and PVP modes that Alderon is working on that'll be the game changer. The PVP Modes will give the PVP players much more dedicated and well designed outlets instead of just deathmatching in Impact Crater. The AI dinos will make every zone in the game feel alive. And impo it'll be the best addition to the game in history. They plan to test Aggressive AI with Critters. And I believe they did say that AI dinos will be critical to improving the quest system. I just hate how impatient I've gotten with AI dinos. Lol

I've always wanted to see a well designed AI. Dino survival games are very dependent on online, and because of that sometimes some servers are empty and lifeless. With bots it's not so empty anymore, there is world filling. If Path of Titans can make an AI similar to the animals in RDO, it will be incredible!

Definitely AI dinosaurs. Not only will it give me the ability to hunt without risk of pissing off the overly sensitive community members, but it'll also give the bored players something to do other than pointlessly chase around juvenile dinosaurs with their adult T-Rex. I'd also like to see a a way to help locate overworld food spawns. Being a big slow herbivore without keen knowledge of the map SUCKS.

I prefer Path of Titans, and I was an Isle veteran. My relationship with The Isle is like that with an abusive ex. We had fun times, but I don’t want to deal with it’s bull*** again.

Honestly I think the isle in its current state is pretty terrible every update add bug or breaks performance it's a got a horrendous dev team barely any playables but that being said it is a very beautiful and immersive when the servers aren't lagging last I check it was like around 15$ or something like that I def think it's worth a try at the price

If you have a higher preforming computer, definitely give it a try. I have played the isle for years and while I did have more fun on legacy, I still have a lot of fun on evrima. If I’m right you can choose which branch of the game you play, legacy or evrima. I say it’s worth it. BUT, the optimization is terrible on evrima. Expect lag, and crashes. I never had as much problems with legacy though. It all dies down to your personal preference, the isle can have a toxic fan base and devs etc. but if you like dinosaurs and dinosaur survival, i recommend you give it a try

Players will never be enough to make a Dinosaur Survival Game immersive. You need AI that act the part to give us true immersion. The Isle could be great at it, but nah lets only add animals instead of dinosaurs as AI. PoT could definetly use AI dinosaurs. Hopefully they will be actual AI Dinosaurs instead of something like ARK has. Mindless walking simulator machines.
