I’m related to Gloria Ramirez. My mother and her were very close. I personally spent time with her on occasion. She had a son close to my age and we would hang out from time to time. Gloria was an all American average day to day citizen. Just like everyone else. Riverside General was a very old hospital and tended to caterer to mostly lower income families. I assure you there were no toxic fumes coming out of her body. The most likely scenario here was there must’ve been some sort of malfunction with the medical machinery or mixing of various types of gases that are present at all hospitals around the country. Either something went wrong with the medical equipment in the emergency room it’s self or perhaps something went wrong elsewhere in confines of the hospital and the toxic gases entered through the ventilation system. Classic case of wrong place wrong time. This incident could have happened to anybody. You or me. They did THREE autopsy’s and found nothing abnormal. At the end of the day,this was nothing more than another government cover up. The fumes came in,people started passing out. The still concise ones pulled everybody out of the room all except Gloria. She was left in the emergency room to die. It’s just that simple, end of story, no more to tell. No mystery, no supernatural event. Gloria was just another victim of the state. Although, she did have people that truly loved her and cared about her.

This is the first time I've heard of this. Riverside General Hospital was where my sisters were born. It was an old hospital, and even as a kid something about it seemed off. I also remember my mom saying that there was a strange odor and other people complained about it. Apparently there were other issues with this hospital. It was demolished in 2002. The location of the old hospital was turned into a shopping center. Now Riverside Community Hospital is it's replacement which is located near Downtown Riverside, CA. Interesting to hear a topic that happened where I grow up. Awesome video Mr. SLAV, loving this new format.

a woman took painkillers, this is what happened to her kidneys. GR is a 31 year old woman, presenting to the emergency room with severe pain, difficulty breathing and vomiting. while doctors took her blood sample they noted an unusual smell of ammonia from her blood, possibly suggesting a case of hyperammonemia. hyper meaning high, ammone refering to ammonia and emia meaning presence in blood.

I remember reading this some years ago in a newspaper. I appreciate the great detail and scientific explanation offered by the narrator; I also agree it is mysterious. My theory is that she had either seen multiple doctors without telling them others before her intake at another doctors office prescribed pills for pain, perhaps she picked up multiple prescriptions on the same day from different doctors and filled them at different pharmacies, thus had a lethal combination or...... the very hospital where she was taken had an MD or surgeon prescribe a lethal does without first having a toxicology report on the cancer patient. The hospital would not want someone on their list of approved visitation rights to have made such a serious error. Organs were removed to see if there were causes of death other than the cause of death was determined to be after the combination was disclosed.

I have a good story topic for your video: The 2012 mysterious tourist deaths in Thailand. The incident involved the mysterious deaths of young, healthy foreign tourists that stayed in the same hotels in two distinct cities 1,600 km. apart. It involved a dozen deaths of unrelated tourists that stayed at the same hotel over different dates within the time period of 2 months. This incident have baffled authorities so much so that the World Health Organisation was invited to sent scientists to the 2 cities. The story remained inconclusive and a mystery to this day.

I'm seeing that radiation therapy for cancer could be toxic to the patient, but I'm not finding articles discussing it being potent enough to spread illness to others in their vicinity. I suppose it might be physically possible to administer a fatal dose of radiation through malpractice given that it would seem it's common practice to administer levels of radiation that could be fatal (around 50Gy by referencing some Stanford University treatment records and the CDC site on ARS). I couldn't find any information about Gloria's occupation that could maybe suggest an alternative way of getting heavy radiation poisoning such as working with radioactive equipment. In theory an autopsy would easily reveal or deny this as a possibility if any such test was ever conducted.

@LeBatteur

That would be incredibly easy to test for, given that radiation tends to stick in an area and on people- those exposed may also appear burned and have swelling, which can happen within minutes. If Gloria was highly irradiated, it would be clear. All it would take is a Geiger counter to figure it out, even years after the fact.

My husband picked up on the ammonia smell and guessed what it could very likely be. Ammonia is used as a heat exchange gas in air conditioning systems. This suggests to us that they screwed up and that the air conditioning was the source. They just tried to cover up their screw-up and pinned it on a dying woman. Would they have tried to say the staff were hysterical if it had been the men who showed the symptoms in the emergency room? We doubt it somehow. The fact that her body was allowed to rot, and her heart went missing! What a shambles. It was a badly run, badly maintained and managed, clapped out hospital and facilities.

Maybe something was going up before her arrival at the hospital. There's no mention of who called the ambulance. Lots of medicines were put into her, there must be a reason.
