I believe the changes to the beggar alert went from only the beggar knows, to everyone knows, to only the beggar and traitors know (to prevent the traitors getting jumped by an already innocent beggar or surprised by a jester that doesn't change)

Instead of a credit every 45 seconds or so like the detective they can get a random item from a curated list every ~20 seconds like Uno Reverse, Barnacles, Dead Ringer, Jetpack etc. Their goal is to ultimately survive whether that be by hiding or murdering anyone who comes after them so some funny lethal items like Science Show, Fool's Golden, Red Matter Bombs or just a Double-Barreled shotgun with only a few rounds in it would be great fun.

It's kinda strange since they had a couple weapons from Black Ops already like the minigun that shoots chickens and the Wunderwaffe. Of course the chicken shooting part is new, but the weapon models and the sound effects are from the game.

For those wondering, the current iteration of beggar only informs the beggar and traitor which team the beggar is on. You can tell they are still using this iteration because immediately after Lewis gets the item, Ben and other innocent roles ask Lewis if he joined their team, and make a “hello fellow innocents” joke because they don’t know for certain. They mentioned in a previous episode that they changed it to only the traitors and beggar so that the beggar can actually become a traitor without instantly outing itself.
