I want to tell you what I encountered in this survival adventure. In the middle of the wilderness, I built a survival shelter with my own hands. As darkness descended upon the landscape, threatening shadows loomed around me, and the loneliness became increasingly palpable. I decided to stay in the shelter, feeling safe there, even though it was just an illusion. As I struggled to fall asleep, an unexpected presence abruptly interrupted me. I woke up frightened and listened intently, trying to figure out what was happening outside. The noise was almost indescribable, but the sense of imminent danger overwhelmed me. It was the bear, ominously approaching my shelter.

Maybe it’s just me, but digging into the side of a hill to build a shelter seems to be a lot more work than necessary or practical. In a heavy rain, it runs downhill and then you have a wet soppy mess on the back wall, sides and floor, not to mention in the stove carefully cut out of the ground.

@@angelina9952 It is not hard, you just have to love what you do. I learned this over time and currently, I no longer do bushcraft, meaning I no longer survive in the woods. Now I have my own homestead with animals, I built a small house and live alone in it 🥰🙏🤗💖

You’re right, being alone in the forest can be very dangerous, especially if wild animals attack the shelter. To protect myself, I have taken several precautions, such as reinforcing the shelter and always having means of defense nearby. I also try to avoid areas where wild animals are more likely to be present and stay vigilant at all times. Thank you for your concern and for following my adventures!
