I recognized my faults and apologized for them multiple times, but she has yet to recognize hers or apologize for them. Just be sure you are not shifting the blame to yourself simply because of the breakup. One thing that helped me a lot was keeping a journal. I would write as if I was writing a letter to her, but NEVER send it. Also, with no contact x'ing off days on a calendar was rewarding. Every day I woke up without contacting her was an achievement. It took me five months to be able to go without chasing her for 30 days.
