Felt this. Had to peacefully walk away for my own clarity. Finally starting to actually detach and release and i had a very intense vivid dream of us like u described. Happy light hearted loving honest and authentic. No weirdness or jaded energy, no barriers or doubts or friction on either end. He came to me and we talked it out. It wasnt an apologetic thing like u said. Just raw honesty and compassion and understanding. Never had a moment like this irl or in my dreams. It felt very real i woke up feeling strange. I am releasing control and rumination and leaving it up to the universe if its meant to be it will come

I used to always be hyper-independent aka “I dont need a man”, I was single for 3 years, then I met my now current man. We had a rough beginning where I definitely felt hurt and confused, but a year after that I did a lot of solo growth and eventually we started dating and now are on great terms. I graduated and I have a stable job. Now im supporting him to finish his engineering degree.
