He thought the grass was greener on the other side. Well, it was brown and dead. The baby’s mother left him with the kid. I moved on. It took some years, but I was patient and waited on God. A little over a year ago I met someone who treats me like a queen. Nobody is perfect, but he treats me good, prays with me, and respects me as a person and as a woman. I’ve never experienced love like this. It started out slow, but he knows what he wants and he’s making plans. As far as my ex, I wish him the best. I forgive him, but it’s no circling back.
