Just love your channel and enthusiasm telling us all where, how, and what things are that you discovered Chase. I truly envy you. As a young teen boy I loved exploring wherever that would be, creeks, rivers, forests, deserts etc. I thought it was so cool to find old things, and think back what they were and used for, then I’d try to research them to find out. I still very much have that same spirit, just alittle older now. I’m 72 years young!! Thank you for all you do, it’s certainly a labor of love.

Awesome place you created! Was wondering your age and heard the grunts building the fire. The grunting age i assume. That's what my kids say if I'm asked my age. Great show

@11:45 I had a recall of a thought I've had before. About those ancient sumerian "hand bags". Say you had one fired like a woven clay pot. Now you have a vessel to carry your 🔥 with that method

I find that it is more reliable to clean ancient coins with distilled water, as olive oil can darken the patina.

Ask glad I found this channel. A conglomeration of history and the doodads that make it interesting. Great content this video. Can't wait to watch more. Quick question... What it the leather pad on your belt. Reminds me of a shotgun butt pad rest. Probably not what it is...

Impressive fireplace. I’m Surprised you don’t have a swing arm in there for a stew pot. I’ve got a good ash story for you. My friends wife ask him to clean out the fireplace, just a prefab fireplace. So he gets his metal pail and cleans it out and sits the bucket in the kitchen next to the door so he could take it out in the morning. Morning comes and he grabs the bucket and guess what, it had melted a perfect circle where it sat. He’s not to bright if you know what I mean.

0:06 do not soak ancient coins in olive oil, olive oil is actually slightly acidic and can damage your ancients if you use olive oil to soak in, plain distilled water is far better. Olive oil is an old technique that has been outdated for about 40 years , it used to be a very common method but has been proven to damage ancient coins if used to soak in,
