"We do something [due to our will] and then our intellect has to catch up," that's _exactly_ why Moses had Eve, our emotions and "gut instinct" _side_ (not "rib," LOL) of Adam, eat _first_ and then she _fed_ Adam who is her "other side," the intellect who had set the rule in the first place that "they" (really just one person) broke. And when that happened, "'their' eyes were opened," meaning then "they" saw through the FILTER you're speaking of. Obviously, that meant their eyes were then CLOSED to their unvarnished, as-we-really-are nature and getting back to that state requires leaving our perception-making bodies. Thank you for being a continuous source of confirmation, this time introducing us to Schopenhauer's perspective on the age old human story! LOVE IT!!! And how it connects astrology to it is particularly helpful for me since that's the area of the whole picture that's the most new to me.

Very interesting and well done! I'm a Jos Campbell fan for ever. He's been a key teacher, no doubt. Thanks for sharing Schopenhauer with us. Sounds a lot like Nietzsche. Lots of cross over with Buddhism for sure. I will definitely be tuning in. I'm a late comer to serious astrology and find it helpful personally and professionally as a therapist. It plays particularly well with Internal Family Systems. 'Love it all!

Namaste Thanks for sharing another view. As per vedic astrology influence of single planet might depend upon position of another strong planet. I am wondering all philosophical, intellectual discussion might be part of matrix which these planets have planned. As down to DNA every subatonic part, cell and even astral, pranic body is been planned thousands of years ago by creator. Nadi jyotish has detailed description of each person ever born and details of his future births written thousands of years ago in palm manuscripts. Is that means there is not even a thin line between free will and destiny

Then what about those sages who were having capability to make miracles and bend, broke every law to make dead alive? Those egoless souls whose heart is fully opened and have achieved ultimate Union with universe.
