Out here doing Ace combat/project wingman maneuvers while Tokyo drifting all in a completely stock transport copter. This is what happens when someone takes pride in their work no matter how mundane.

The drifting and rolling actually help for putting it down gently, manoeuvres like that kill speed and altitude like no tomorrow, allowing you to do a controlled landing in no time at all. (Not irl ofc, well the rolls anyways)

Fun with physics at its finest! Even IRL helicopter maneuvers are still pretty silly if you're ballsy enough. Honestly I can't help but thing of helicopter pilots as the skater bros of the aviation world.

@@ShadowNightPack oh I understand the VA's proclivities I just don't like stand alone statements like that which do not specify that they are jokes because some people are dumb enough to take things like that at face value. Thats why I made the dark joke rather the VA telling me then a funeral director apologizing. Usually they only say their sorry as they are "comforting" the family of the dead.

@@tsijr915 unfortunately this is the only way I can interact with the VA. Did you know corporate soldiers working D.O.D. contracts could be doing and seeing the same things as deployed troops? Did you know those that work as corporate soldiers don't get military benefits?

In a game with fall damage, it's amazing how players will still choose to die from jumping out of a Helicopter they THINK is gonna crash, instead of just waiting to see if it crashes or not.

I used to do this in BattleField games. Come in fast and low, flip and turn to shed off speed and plant it, also lined me up for escape vector. Only time I ever got a compliment from randoms, was kind of wholesome lol

So many good memories about planetside 2 during its peak, especially the all out battles where you had massive platoons working together and all the pilots coming in to drop people off was so impressive to experience. I Have been a Passenger with someone as skilled as this: Rules for ALL Passengers on Flights Such as These: 1) Sit down and Shut Up (YOU Definitely do Not want to distract the pilot or Aircrew while in Flight Plus will get yelled or punched for doing so, Generals and Officers included) 2) Buckle in (if you can). Safety Note to ALL Passengers: Vomit only goes in baggies or helmets or your buddies pocket because putting it in Anything Else may mean having it Sharing with Everyone Else or even Worse, your pilots internal windscreen which pretty effectively ends your ride right about There which is kind of the point of all this in the first place, but I digress.... 3) Put both Hands on something bolted to Something Else in the Helicopter (if you can) or white knuckle your seat (if have one or you can) and /or the passengers next to you (as much as you can) if and only if allowed to do so (don't need any HR here right about now). 4) ANY Landing is considered a Landing as long as you can exit the Aircraft Before it Explodes (even if gravity is more in charge of your aircraft's landing more than you were). 5) Thank the aircrew appropriately for all the aforementioned stunts to save your buttocks that would get anyone else court martial-ed or at least heavily fined and in court for at least a decade. 6) Have fun tomorrow, doing it all over again. Probably. If you end up getting anyone with a Medical Degree to allow you to do so....again. She and her co-pilot are the scariest Best Pilots I've ever met and Never wish to meet again in those circumstances, Ever. I mean that. But I'll fly with her again anytime She wants me to, I also mean that as well.

exactly, thats practice. go to a empy server, and use the helicopters and crash them, go all around the map and play until you get good, and they do all these tricks in actual gameplay with other players.

Or when RANDOM pilot sees your squad marked on map - you are assaulting a point without need for any kind of heli support. Lands next to you without request - giving away your location, proceeds to being shot at and killed by enemies and than starting votekick for your SQL for not getting his squad in helicopter.

Do you use a HOTAS setup or you just running mouse and keyboard? I'm not a huge fan of how much free control of the axis I have on the mouse as it makes slight adjusting feel a little less controllable.

I played like this on battlefield 4. Would fly through buildings and other various places that a helicopter had no business being inside but could certainly fit into if you tried hard enough.
