detroit style pizza is known because of the sauce on top but above all, the crispy crust and undercarriage of the deep dish crust and the cheese packed all the way to the edge. also there's some detroit style pizza that still has sauce under the cheese, like Jets pizza. Strongly recommend yall try Jets pizza, there's a couple in Virginia. Gotta get the deep dish crust with turbo crust!!!
