I was very sceptical at first cause theres been so many times where I've fought someone who evolved their magicarp from the bench turn 1 and flipped heads with misty and i couldn't do anything. Even when I used cards like Hitmonlee and fartetched. Then I see the deck is perfectly engineered to counter Gyarados which makes sense. Still very interesting to see all the thought that went into this deck.

Also huge respect that he loves to play with off meta decks. 100% agree. Way funner to experiment than play meta decks and win every game.

Lucky misty with articuno at the start its GG, bad card drawing is gg,top deckers enemies are usually a gg. You cant say you are inmunne to luck when literally every game luck affects you. And using Deddene and saying coin flip doesnt affect your games is a bad joke.

I feel like theyve made a change to misty so its significantly less chance to work on turn 1, because I think ive gotten the right draw 20 or 30 times and it has MAYBE worked on turn 1 twice?

The point isn't that luck doesn't affect you, it's not that literal. But a lot of games are winnable despite bad luck if you know the best way to play around it. And in the end, statistics tells us that you won't be especially lucky or unlucky across all your games if you play enough.
