Something to enrich your local vocabulary. Those small boats are locally known as bancas or bangka in Filipino. The bamboo pontoons on its side which are used to balance the boats are called katigs. 😊

if only taal volcano is a dormant one, there would have been great developments on that side of taal lake (where the sun is perfectly setting from that horizon) btw, it's so rare to see sunset in taal lake 🌅

You should also do the Cavite loop which is popular among motorcycle clubs and enthusiasts because of the views similar to Big Sur in California. The journey starts in historic Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit Cavite, then the town of Ternate, pass through Kaybiang tunnel towards Nasugbu then finish off at the People’s Park in the Sky in Tagaytay.

You my friend are a frontiersman. Not even Mike of Making it Happen or the other foreign vloggers have ever made the road trip around Taal lake. And those provincial roads are almost Zen like , you can feel the calm and quiet atmosphere. Also great find on that little shop and the price can't be beat.

When you get a chance, and if open you, should try climbing mount maculot in Quenca, Batangas. Its that mountain on the banks of taal lake thats kinda shaped like a snail. The view off rocky mountain ("snails head part") of the whole taal basin is panoramic and spectacular especially for drone footages. Got to see the sunrise and sunset.

Taal Batangas try to go there so easy to go there if you use Motorbike. Try to see and and loon for our historical church it's the biggest church in the Philippines. It's a little herritage town also small town name TAAL BATANGAS
