Back in August 98, I rafted with a private party (2 big rafts, 2 dinghies) over 2 nights of rafting/cooking and camping on the sandbars between Westwood drop in and Moab. Epic. That triangle of canyonlands between the Colorado River/CO, UT border, the Lasalles and Castle Valley is crazy remote stuff.

I think you need to look into the DJI FPV timmy, you wont be able to fly it while you drive at the same time unless you become god skilled but the amount of fun and new flying youll experience will make you look at the traditional drones with much disdain.

Good thing you turned around at the gate. I wasn't smart enough and did end up going further down the trail with my F250. That tight turn was not fun going down or back up after I turned back around since it was getting late and didn't know how far the end of the trail was and from seeing other vids, it's a pretty gnarly climb out at the other end.
