omg this is the funniest video man, between the animations just allowing the CPU to just score at will, the animations that just make people plank and spaz out on the ground, the game not tracking stats accurately at all, AJ Cole deciding to do some pass rushing, and then to top it off the kick return for TD. My head canon for the West Virginia QBs is one guy was alr a top prospect, got suspended and sat out the rest of the year to perform for the draft. They then threw in the 2nd guy but he got injured halfway through the season putting up great stats and rising his stock. And the final QB came in and finished the season the strongest, which convinced him to go for the draft as his stock is as high as it's gonna be.

One thing I find so incredibly funny is how the WR3 on the Chiefs playbook gets the most yards in Madden 25. Ran a Broncos rebuild and my WR3 kept getting the most receptions, targets, and yards year in year out. Tried switching players, changing the slot, etc etc. Always the WR3. I find that equal parts depressing and hilarious that the Developers cater so blatantly to the Chiefs. No other playbook I've discovered is catered to the rookie, mind you

Also as far as the pass deflections go, it's silly but you have to go for the deflection as opposed to an interception. If they get a PBU while trying to intercept the ball it doesn't count, you *have* to swat the pass for it to count. Madden is so unbelievably rudimentary it's crazy

That's likely because they are in the slot. Regardless of playbook, the slot wr dominates. For a better example, look at the rams playbook

I really don't care about Madden anymore. CFB is a much more enjoyable game to watch. The storylines are much more intriguing and it feels like you enjoy it more. Trenton State is fantastic, and I'm also really enjoying the longer Tulane videos. The recruiting part of the game is really exciting, and it's something that Madden doesn't really have an equivalent to.

In my franchise I drafted my first xfactor QB & didn't even plan on getting a QB. Im 10 years into my SF franchise, I have Purdy who is already an xfactor, an mvp & back 2 back Superbowl MVP but I couldn't just turn away a 21yo, 6'3, 220 lbs who had great/elite everything. Ended up being 84 overall with 95 SPD, ex, 97 TP, 80 awareness, in the 80s for all all accuracy. Best player in the draft at pick 6 which I traded Purdy for lol
