I've always loved Alex. It made sense that Capcom would make their "main character" in "Third Strike" a wrestler because of the uber popularity of the WWF/WCW at the time. He's fun to watch and you root for the lower tier.

As an Alex player myself, that combination at 8:12 was hot. Playing against Chun Li is a very VERY up hill battle. There are a lot of moves that do not work on Chun Li. Even getting to 4-4 is already amazing.

I wanted to tell you this live on your stream the other day (Cogzero) And just want to say that the reason you're easily my favorite guy to watch play fighting games is that you are the kind of player that I think anyone with enthusiasm, love for fighting games, and dedication can become. I see a player like Diago and I can't help but be put off by his style, but when I see YOU play bro, it's like watching someone play LIKE I WOULD play. Taking gambles, reading your opponent, making in-game adjustments, playing smart, and playing dangerous when you want to get lucky. All of these things I feel anyone can get good at and once upon a time, I was back in the Bronx, making guys spit out quarters just like this but I never got a chance to go down the road of FGC competitor. If I had to choose between being Diago or being you, I'd choose YOU bro, because you LOVE this shit. You play like a man that loves the GAME, and doesn't just like to win. I appreciate that and I am absolutely a lifelong fan. I hope you get to read this man. You are awesome.
@tcchip2 жыл бұрын
That really is some masterful Alex playing. Alex is my favorite ever SF character. I didn't get SFV until Alex was released, and he's my main (but boy did I suffer for it. My second main, Bison generally does a lot better than Alex). Granted, Alex in SFV isn't exactly top tier either (though the final patch has done wonders for him), but he's at least a lot of fun to play, and at least now we're in an era where there's plenty of channels and resources to learn from, starting with Gunfight and Twisted Rivera.
