Just 2 cents, really humble ones. I've been following Pink Ward forever. There is nothing, NOTHING, that he does in his gameplay that hasn't been tested a lot, and the mistakes margins for him are very very low. He literally reads players that plays against him. He decided to play in a very high risk high reward zone, and his little health bar in our eyes, it's made of million of pieces he has the experience to manage. And this works at lower ranked because people don't know the game, but works better at high ranks, cause people is so freaking self confident they believe they know how to top him, and they all fall trying. You can't top him, cause he's the best at what he does, his playstile can be mocked but his efficiency at doing it is unique. The best way to win a lane against him, is to farm and ignore him, build something that absorb small damage easily, avoid full commitment EVER. Then move to teamplay. What it will happen is that he will lose interest in your lane and will start to roam to get the advantage is not getting from you. So even if you lose the game at least you can't say you lost your lane. But you will never win it unless you get camped, which means his team will have easy way to get advantage. And it's not annoying or psycho. It's just clever. And admittely I tryed to play like that at low elo, and it's FUN, not because you make life of people miserable, but because you literally have to be creative to play it efficiently. And i'm not referring to the laning phase, but to the rest of match. It's a playstile that doesn't rely on anyone to be succesfull, and gives you a lot of freedom and choices

Baus is actually Pinkward's best counter because Baus just doesn't interact with his Shaco and Shaco can't stop his proxying without being behind. Look at their past clips against each other. Although, Baus best counter is ppl like TFBlade and that Aatrox main because they can capitalize greatly being fed by Baus.

The thing about shaco ult is the cooldown starts as soon as you cast it, so it feels even shorter than it is (which is really short, especially with cdr, think it's similar to lux ult. So if you use the clone a lot it's got a lot of up-time.

People don't understand how hard lane shaco actually is. If enemy has pressure, denys your push/farm and delays your level 6 as far as possible you will be useless. Clone plays, box plays, box timers, invisibility usage and the timing to dodge with your R cast. It is just so hard to master that.

I'd say even Garen is more difficult since you have to at least know top lane fundamentals and when you mess up you really mess up and get punished really hard

Really don't see the issue. Shaco is a totally unique champion is the set. I love the idea behind him and how he works. There is genuine positional awareness, his knowledge on what vision the neemy has and the mind games. The clip at 16 minutes most players would absolutely not survive. You may dislike him but he is genuinely great at playing the champion and the champion is designed perfectly for a jester. He's probably a top 5 champion in the game for how well the entire champion thematically works

Fun fact, shaco ult cooldown counts down from the moment you use it, not when the clone dies. So if your R has a 60 sec cooldown and your clone survives for 30 sec when it dies youll only have 30 sec left on your R

playing against blue kayn is more annoying. He will just zoom with 800 movespeed and can be anywhere at all times. Also if he goes 0:10:0 early and your team doesn't have 2 tanks or more he will 1 v 9 and be 20:10 after minute 25. I can't count the times where we were in enemy base stats are like 40:20 for us, 4 enemies down, 5 of us alive we are doing inhibs atm then a blue kayn comes from behind and aces us because we're all half life but you literally can't outplay him because of his movespeed and ult.

I've played hundreds of ap shaco games, mainly jungle, some top/mid and I can tell you, there is something about it man, I swear people CANNOT not engage you when you're low. Even higher elo players as you can see in this video. They KNOW the boxes are there, they KNOW he's baiting them, they know they're going to die.... But what if I'd outplay the shaco? Dives, dies... Literally the only thing you have to do to win this lane is NEVER ENGAGE HIM. You auto win on farm and usefulness.
