@@NepNeppy There's a case to be made for Psychic Metagross as a bit of spice. Togekiss will waste a shield anyway, and you do better against Golisopod or Gyarados.

Best pokemon to counter Swampert, you can laugh at all those Swampert that go against Golisopod. Resist all moves except Sludge Wave but you wont see people running it unless spice pick but even then you still win in most scenarios.

Assuming it does really depends if it has a side effect (buff/debuff) and also the energy cost and damage. If its like Lunge with either the same or more damage (even without side effects) its gonna be very very strong. X-Scissor isn't the best move but its the only real good cheap move it has cuz Aerial Ace is just bad and Aqua Jet is a worse version of Liquidation. Unless they decide to buff Bug Type moves in the future on the next season like we got with Mud Bomb etc, then we may see bug types being more common but sadly there are very little relevance for Bug typing in general and the moves we currently have. Bug Buzz woulda been great if only it didn't cost so much, heck even Shadow Ball is 55 vs 60 for BugBuzz.

I've been having some fun with my Hundo Golisopod in MLP, tho it is only level 45 still. Counting its attacks versus opposing pokemon is still taking some time to get used to, but it's been fun. I was theorizing how it would work with Waterfall instead of Shadow claw but the later has better pressure overall. But it still plagues my mind to see how it would work haha

I don't even know if I'd call Golisopod "spice" in the Master Premier. It beats Mamoswine, Metagross, and Excadrill very comfortably while also being slightly to somewhat positive against all the charmers (Togekiss, Sylveon, Primarina, and Florges)...I just think it *feels* a bit spicy, because Golisopod was held back for so long (despite having a pretty good defensive typing combination) because its best STAB charge move was X-Scissor and it had to run Aerial Ass as its second move. But now that it has a Crunch clone in Liquidation, it's just a good, solid Pokemon.

@@sgjuxtaAerial Ass 😂 I completely agree with you! I only call it spicy because I rarely see it. But I am only now using all my sets every day. With remote raids up in price and crappy weather here I’ve been focusing a bit more time into PvP.

I've been running multiple different Golisopod since teams since the start of MLPC and have been overall doing well.. Been running Aerial Ace instead of Xscissor though. Considering the META consists of 6 pokemon Aerial Ace(despite how crappy the move is) is helpful against Primarina,Gary, Dnite & Mirror Golisopod. It definitely lacks overall Power+Bulk though but it definitely puts up a fight. Just imagine if Golispod had 4000 plus CP it would be top META. Two Golisopod teams that i been running.. Florges, Golisopod & Haxorus Haxorus, Snorlax, Golisopod Had pretty good success with both of these teams.

Haxorus is so all-in. Sometimes it dies instantly, and sometimes, I can solo an entire team with it. I love it. There are no drawn out battles when you run Haxorus. It's a quick GG in either direction, heh.
