What I don’t like is: once the 1st player finishes the route it doesn’t start decreasing the other’s score like in underground2, which makes no sense to rush for the finish line.

Have you ever gotten out of 3rd gear. Other than chaining on the long straights? That’s why B-S+ I feel is basically the same. I need to keep testing and see if there is anything to keep a good drift at high speeds.

yeah i usually go down to 2nd gear for the short and tight corners, and on some straights i go to 4th and even 5th gear if i can chain it

I even use downshift instead of brake sometimes. Almost like clutch kick irl.

It’s funny when I got my free dark horse I build it in A+ too with the 7.0. I feel like regardless of what class you pro drift in, you have to drive slow as hell, otherwise you’re spinning out. What are your thoughts?

the tight corners are all slow no matter the car you run, too much slide to really send it like the old days. if you can chain them together its really satisfying, the long drifts are just satisfying all way around lol. otherwise i stand by my statement of everything being the same and it coming down to personal skill

I was playing for a couple hours last night, it definitely feels better in manual imo, I get more control picking the right gear for what I’m trying to do, and chaining is elite feels fucking amazing tbh

Certain cars work better in certain classes still. The BRZ for example lol. Lower classes is way better than upper since the update. And I used to run it in S.

I wish all cars were the same. It’s the uphill tracks where certain cars really shine. Or engines maybe? I’m determined to make the s15 work as well as the rx7.

i think its mostly engines, but the cars power and weight can also play a factor. i wanna find better lower class builds, but it seems like all i can find that works for me is the cheese builds lol

i think it takes some getting use to, but just like the old way it isnt for everyone. love this update all around tho 🤙 in the works of making a new "how to drift" video, just gotta figure everything out first
