next time you need it is 24/7. I put it in the pool the day it was opened in May and turned it off for the winter in September. I had to charge it once when it was cloudy and rainy for 3 days in July. It only came out of the pool to empty the basket every 1-2 days. It is a god send. Nothing like coming out in the morning and not having to skim the pool from my neighbor's trees dropping their foliage whenever the wind blows from that side of the yard. 5 out of 5.

Oh I agree, when we get the wind, everything blows into the pool and this robot skims it right out before it has time to sink to the bottom (unless it's sand) and we have a really clean swimming pool now! We love ours. Thanks for the comment!

Still using my old one as well and haven't had issues yet, but I pull it out of the pool each time it's done collecting the floaters and leaves. Have to keep it cleaned out, but still working just fine. Thanks for the comment!
