Tamara, thank you for this review. I really like the mini, but I ended up going with the Max for my workload of drones and other video and photography equipment to charge. Your review was spot on, though, and I really appreciate everything you do for the community. Cheers!

Thanks so much. I really appreciate that! The Max is a great choice, from the specs I've read. The EcoFlow porducts are quality so I'm sure any of them will be great.

I agree that this is a must have portable power generator. It's so light and can fit in my bag.

Thank you for sharing. I do also fly DJi drones and the River Mini is a great thing to have when you're out flying them.

Definitely! It means you can fly all day and just charge your batteries in between flights.

Wonderful video! There will be blackouts in my area soon. I need a generator for work (6 hours a day). My laptop is a powerful gaming machine. The capacity of the battery is 90 Wh. The laptop is 180 watts. I'll also configure my phone as a hotspot (a Xiaomi Mi 9). So I require it for 5 hours per day (assuming laptop and phone batteries will last one hour). Is it better to get the River Mini or the River? Which do you believe is the better option in my case? It will only be used to charge a laptop and a phone. Thank you kindly!

Hey 👋🏾 I haven't looked at the River in loads of detail but just looking quickly at the specs I think the River Mini would be sufficient for you, but it's definitely worth having at chat with EcoFlow support as they can also advise 🙂

Hi . Good video . Will this appliance run a 500 watt electric portable heater . Thx
@TamaraGabrielUK2 жыл бұрын
It has a 300W (600W surge) output, so maybe not...

Can you use a regular car socket or does it need to be in a 12 volt car socket?
@TamaraGabrielUK2 жыл бұрын
Think it has to be a 12 volt, but double check the website.

Would it be good as a UPS that keep being plugged in. For example computer setup and in case of shortage you have the mini .
@TamaraGabrielUK2 жыл бұрын
Yeah you can definitely keep it plugged in and keep it running in case of a power outage. Just need to check the watt capacity for your PC. But EcoFlow do also have larger power supplies too like the River Pro, River Delta, etc.
@JPC3262 жыл бұрын
@@TamaraGabrielUK Is it safe to keep it always pluigged in ? Like is there an UPS mode ? My fear is that is reduce the battery capacity.
@TamaraGabrielUK2 жыл бұрын
Might be best to drop EcoFlow a message to double check.

I'm not sure. It's best to check your power input with the specs on the site uk.ecoflow.com/products/river-mini-portable-power-station?variant=41072072294592

Who reads instruction manuals ;) his would be ideal as the Mrs keeps nicking and emptying my little charger for the pocket 2. I could just leave this lying around to get consumed and there may even be some left for me, or my little un (looks like your anker) would at least remain full.
