Just a couple things that make this build feel better.. forget bonus transcendence energy from Sacrifice/Devotion. Grace is more than enough. If you run a rocket side-arm like I do, you need something to deal with barrier champions. Facet of Dawn synergizes well with the journal artifact Radiant Orbs. You're almost always radiant, and your heavy weapon will shred barriers if you already run Overload Hand Cannon/Unstoppable Sidearm. Facet of Protection is my second recommendation. The damage reduction is almost necessary in high tier content. This build cooks though. Maybe not quite as much as some of the other solar builds. However, the trade-off is the passive damage that spreads. You can take cover, get ammo, etc. All while damaging enemies you've already tagged.

id really appreciate if D2 content creators that make build videos actually had a full run of said build in end game content so we can se if its actually good.

The fact that the souls don’t float towards you is dumb! It’s so hard to get use of them in end game content.

The souls you get from the Thorn do track to you and always have I don't know where you thought they didn't lol.

I see the vision on this, but the strand warlock version of this has more going for it with mindspun invocation and the wanderer

Strand has Mindspun but prismatic you can proc devour without running buried bloodline

I've been using this build and a similar one since strand came out. Ad clear is ridiculously easy so you focus on beefy targets.

Yeah wish ender quest. Bungie did a rework of certain exotic quests including that one. Instead of it going to the quest tab it goes to your inventory in its respective slot

How did you get the thorn catalyst? Ive been doing vangaurd ops amd it never drops! Btw i have the same build and yeah this is hella fun to use. Shoot one and the poison spreads esp when they bunch up.

Just a tip to improve this build cause this is not fully min maxed in this video. Solipism drops with Star Eater Scales and Necrotic that roll is just straight better than base necrotic. Also Thorn is okay BUT Necrochasm is better and does the job much faster but that’s personal preference. This build really takes advantage of void debuffs too but mainly just farming Solipism is the main goal to really maximize this build.

spirit of necrotic poison does not ramp up damage like the original exotic does, so dealing with tankier enemies it is NOT better than the original.

@@thestokes91 why are you even using Necrotic anything for bigger enemies like big yellow bars you should be using like a heavy or something especially in super end game

I have that roll and constantly use it. The ramping damage would be extremely useful... the tradeoff with stareaters is often worth it, though.

Thorn, osteo striga, touch of malice and necrochasm are the only weapons of sorrow in game unfortunately. I would think that Bad Juju, Witherhoard, Whisper of the Worm and Malfeasence would be considered weapons of sorrow or something similar at least, but the bungie devs decided otherwise. probably has something to do with how weapons of sorrow are hive based whereas the others are based off of taken outside of bad juju (which was Toland's attempt at creating a weapon of sorrow).
