people get so focused on the graphics, they dont seem to understand that going to Unreal Engine 5 will unleash beast mode modding. the amount of classic+ content Turtle can push out because of UE5 will be insane in comparison to what they could do on the old wow client which is extremely annoying and limiting to work with, which will most likely make SoD a joke in comparison to Turtle 2 in terms of classic+ content.

The thing is, Blizzard deliberately made everything look bright. The current WoW engine is perfectly capable of rendering shadows and dark zones. But Blizzard believes that's what makes players stop playing.

@@Finnmitten nost isn't the only private server in the world buddy, plenty of servers have been hosted in Europe prior to nost and all had to move their servers to the eastern block because blizzard was determined to close the bigger servers. also regarding nost their hand was very much forced, they got a notice saying if the server wasn't closed within the week they would all be facing potentially years of jail time

@@robertprittThey can’t shutdown these servers. They all host their servers in countries that American companies can’t do anything besides send them letters. They couldn’t even shut Nos down, nos only agreed to shutdown because blizzard promised classic to them if they did. There’s people that stream pservers on KZbin. Just smaller channels. It’s against twitch TOS so big streamers actually can’t stream it.

You should definitely try it its great server with a lot of custom content like fashion coins who are used for tmog and lot of custom raids zones and dungeons like Gilneas and Gilneas city, Hyjal and Emerald sanctum, Karazhan Crypt and Lower Karazhan halls.

It just looks like fornite and I don't say that as a complement. They basically took all the charm of what makes older zones of wow cozy and made it generic unreal engine graphics. The fact people are happy seeing this but were distraught when we got updated models in retail is so confusing to me.

@@eboethrasher Ok. Tell the Alliance that got to that gathering node 1 second faster to turn PvP on so I can fight them for it. Tell the other faction’s guild to flag themselves when there’s a world boss up. Tell that solo mage aoe farming to activate PvP mode so we can battle for control of an area. Tell that other group currently in control of the devilsaur spawns to keep their PvP on so my group can fight for skins as well.
