I'm not Christian, and I have been pro-choice most of my life, but recently came across information from this young lady's organization, and was quite shocked. I didn't know the ins and outs of what happened in an abortion, which changed my mind immediately. I realized how uneducated I actually was on the topic, and began to question all the arguments used by the pro-choice movement. This young lady does an excellent job of presenting clear and concise arguments from both religious and secular points of view. Watching this video, I could see in the pastor the most typical tactic used by pro-choice. Someone asks a question, you challenge their definition (because pedanticism is always a good approach to an honest conversation - not) in the hopes of creating confusion. She did admirably in being able to rephrase the question to fit his narrative, but he just kept changing the definition. That tells me that he is confused. He isn't really sure what he actually believes. The contradictions in his various statements showed a real disconnect between what he wanted to believe intellectually, and what he thought he should believe based on his proffessed religion. He was having real difficulty trying to mesh the two, and was very uncomfortable with the cognitive dissonance that was being brought to the surface. I have realized that this how virtually all pro-choice I have ever met are. It is a stark contrast to the clear, concise, straightforward arguments put forward by the pro-life side.

Seeing what really happens(I'm assuming u saw the doctor speak on when he use to do abortions and he explains every physical destruction step by step. It's intense. )... When I was a teenager, my mom made me go to an abortion class at church. They didn’t hold back anything. I was 16 and devastated. I could not believe people actually did that and it broke my heart. I’ve been pro-life my entire life and used to vote only on that topic until recent years. I still vote anti abortion of course, there’s just a lot more I never paid attention to until the last 5 yrs. Well I would like him to explain to me as it's so confusing to me - what about - let's keep it easy - full term unborn babies? That is all babies between 37-42 weeks gestation. If it's inside it's not a human and it's not alive but if it's outside it automatically is a human and is alive. If he wants to vote yes for the woman to decide about abortion until the end of her pregnancy and the woman decides at 37 weeks, how does he see it performed? They give the woman oxitocine to get the baby out right? She doesn't want it. The baby is born healthy full term but technically it was an "abortion" so what happens with the baby? Do they just throw it out to garbage? Of course the father is not supposed to have anything to say here. What do they do with this aborted "fetus"? It troubles me. I don't want to complicate it further going back a few weeks when the baby could live with medical intervention. What medical team is comfortable with that? Watching the baby trying to breathe and knowing they could help the baby live? I don't know. Abortion is unlimited in Canada and I don't want to know if that actually happens because it would break me.

It's so strange to me. From the time I started thinking about the possibility of having sex and the repercussions of possibly getting pregnant, as early as 12 yrs old I had these thoughts... it never occurred to me that at any point would it be acceptable to murder that baby. Months ago my pastor was happy about the wade v roe turn over, he brought it up in church and everybody clapped as a celebration. Naive me was so offended as I used to have more democrative views. After following some more red channels and debates as well as getting closer to my religion and being more serious about about marriage and my way of life, I am happy that my church leader leads with what is said in the bible. I longed to hold that baby in my arms and never got the chance.
