If you know nothing about computers... MAKE A RESTORE POINT... System restores are not the best either since it can fuck your boot drive and even corrupt files. Its not as reliable but most of the time it works fine. But system to system it could fuck up as machines do that a lot. I recommend getting a ISO/USB drive and downloading Microsoft's media tool so just incase this program fucks you which it can anything fucking with system files and turning shit on and off can fuck shit up. If you do not have access to a USB drive then you can always go to Settings > Reset PC > Reset Everything then wait the 1-2 hours for windows to completely reinstall itself note if you do this you do lose all your files. Theres another option that will reset just your settings but keep your files... so deleting only windows and keeping your files. Be smart.. stay safe.. dont be stupid and fuck your pc.
