I do however understand that the reason they just ignored her was because its easier to say nothing collectively than be the one person to say no, as that way it is a shared burden of guilt amongst everyone. I cringed again when Fundy just tried to fill in the pause, he was probably thinking that it would help but in actuality it probably made Ashley feel a little bad. Too many times have I experienced a situation like this from both Ashley's perspective and the groups perspective. It's really important acknowledge people and let them know their voices are heard.
