@@amandajones6481 I never understand any cruelty to animals. I grew up with a Great Dane called Tara and later an English Setter named Sherry and they were the best things that ever happened to me. Animals are the most loyal and loving souls if treated well and reflect back any affection shown to them 10 fold. Very sad that their are people out their who, in my humble opinion, are cruel and certainly should never be allowed to keep any animals. I believe in Karma and feel their bad behaviour towards animals might come back to bite them one day.

Hi Rose. We actually don't know if he was ever in a home, we suspect that he migh be a stray doggie - he is only 2 months old. In any case, the important thing is that he is healthy now and hopefully we will find him a loving family soon!

It is a difficult, sometimes heart breaking, yet rewarding thing to do by working with sick, injured or abandoned animals!! It pretty much is heartbreaking anyway you look at it because you rehabilitate them if they are injured and then you release them and it breaks your heart to watch them walk away! You know what you're doing is the right thing to do but it doesn't make it any easier. And then, there are the ones that are sickly and weak that you tried to nurse back to health and just when you think you've got it figured out, you lose them. They can't talk and tell you what they want or if something's wrong or what hurts. I had 12 baby raccoons inside, yes I said inside, my home was theirs so four different litters combined together with the youngest ones not even able to walk yet so that meant bottle feeding which truly is more of a syringe feeding and you have to teach them how to go potty or they will explode but it is a joy win they do open their eyes and look at you for the first time and that's when you see love pure unadulterated untouched pure love!!

It is amazing that no matter how dire these dogs circumstances are,.....if they think someone is trying to help them that tail starts wagging. And they also are usually so well behaved as they are getting a bath and being examined.

Absolutely! He never barked or try to move once I believe. Only 1 time when we showered him for the second time, but other than that - no - he was completely calm. And during the vet, the moment we put him on the table, he started wagging his tail :) So that was a great sign for us. For example, Beti, the other puppy we rescued she was nervous at the vet. Then again, we think Bear is completely stray puppy so it was his first time there :) Thank you for the support Tony and God bless you!

My first BC's name was Tess Siobhan. She didn't like the first one I gave her (T'Ami, a Vulcan female name from "Star Trek"). I named her Tess at 6 wks.and she wagged her tail over and over! She lived 16.2 yrs.and her son, a big boy, lived 15.8 yrs. All sweet and intelligent!

God Bless You, Guys!.. Your passion to help this helpless animals, give them the second chance to live . I know rescuing animal is big responsibility emotionally because your conscience doesn't stop bothering you, once you see the animals in need to rescue and big responsibility financially also because what's the use of rescuing if not properly address the animal medical issues to have the second chance in life. Oh, how I wish that I'm rich so that all animal rescue/shelter I could help financially.
