Sometimes I think he's used to it. Any probably that would not change that much. However, who knows. Maybe soon he'll run some serious 15k. He could just put gopro on shoulders or head and run.

I only started running last year at the age of 68, I have done 30 park runs, best PB 21.40. With the help of Watching your videos and all the training tips,hopefully will improve on that. Thanks again.

@@markus7894 You have no concept of what is incredible running. Whilst I started running as a teenager I have had many years where I didn't run. My time of 62 mins would be average for my age group, not good or incredible but also not poor. Now back to a senior lady athlete running a15k race. 4:30/km is rank average, an average speed of 4:00/km would be good but certainly NOT incredible.

There will always be slight set backs in life but it's always about how you respond to it! On race day sometimes it just doesn't happen, shame when that day is a marathon day but don't let it get you down too much. Keep that confidence, you're an amazing runner running crazy times still.

From Nijmegen here, they also have a 7km run the night before. I have ran this event 4 times and volunteered once. It's amazing, fantastic crowd, fantastic route, fantasic scenery.

If you want to do a real 7 hills come up to Edinburgh next June for the 7 hills race. About 25km and 700m Elevation. No route just seven points at the top of hills you need to reach. But 90% of people go the same way

Great video of the NN 7heuvelenloop. I missed it because injury. Other (in my opinion) great Dutch runs are, Egmond 1/2 marathon, CPC Den-Haag, Rotterdam marathon, Amsterdam marathon and Groet uit Schoorl run.

Don’t rush those.. take your time. Will be worth it in the long term! And don’t stress about the cardio.. it will be hard when you first start back, but will return quicker than you might expect. All the best!

I still havent found "THE shoe !". Do long runs (50+ km, do marathons for bi-weekly training). Have a high arch, have weak achilles, need cushion, need low stack, need wide forefoot. Think I'll go for the Asics Glideride, but they are HEAVY !!!

Good run, buddy. I enjoyed that. Quick question though; where do you put the GoPro/mic when you’re not recording? You don’t carry it in your hand the whole way do you? I put mine in my flip belt but I don’t have a mic on it so I’m wondering if that would be too bulky 🤔 Any thoughts or sage wisdom?

I just carry it.. it fits in my hand ok. I put it in a belt at great north run and it was a real pain.. so just carried it all the way here.

NB 1500 is nice, feels fast and snappy. For longer distances the Nike zoom fly but I find it a little unstable. I ran marathon Kasterlee (Belgium) last weekend. It's also a very nice and spicy nature run (sand, little hills) Maybe something for next year.
