Salt was used as a preservative. So they probably noticed it enhances flavor of the preserved meat then used it outside of preservation. And my guess on the cooked meat is finding animals that died to wildfires and eating them.

Cooked meat was key to human brain development, like that was the thing that pushed us from being basically monkeys into having intelligence. You get more bioavailable calories, less disease, and can turn essentially spoiled food into edible food. Nobody's 100% sure how we figured out fire + dead animals = yum, but we were doing that before we were doing almost anything else that animals can't do.
@JaydenRettmanАй бұрын
Yeah because there were zero fires other than wild ones … nobody lived in cold climates .. we will never know

@JaydenRettman Excellent hypothesis. Also viable as well. I'm no paleontologist.

Humans have always been omnivores. The stretch to salt adds up in pretty simple math. Early humans ate berries, nuts, root vegetables, certain grasses and wild flowers as well as any game they caught. To eat the root vegetables they had to get them hot to break down the fibers, why not try the berries, and the bird, maybe put some berries on the bird and now we have a compote on some gamey meat. Humans, even long ago, have always been incredibly intelligent and we do ourselves a disservice of thinking of them as dumb cave animals. They were always smart, they just started from level 1 whereas we are born into level 25555 comparatively.

Humans were more intuitive back then, they had to rely on their instincts pretty much all the time so their hunches were closer to being correct more than we like to think ("how many people died eating poisonous berries before they discovered which ones they could eat?")

9:43 wagyu has to be the worst choice when it comes to beef tartare cause it has so much fat, you’re really supposed to use something like filet mignon or any decent quality steak with not so much marbling

Maybe that way makes it easier for his brain to associate mouse release with bullet shot. I know for many of us it's hard to get used to delays in firing

Most of us Japanese are not familiar with beef tartare There used to be yukhoe in Japan, a Korean dish similar to beef tartare, but it was banned after an incident of food poisoning. Yukke is a Korean dish and beef tartare is a French dish. They are similar, but the seasoning must be different, and the fact that beef tartare is not as popular in Japan as yukhoe suggests that the Japanese do not like beef tartare

I surprised you don't pick grapple on knock with your play style going in so much it's not like your teammates are using fast zip i only see you for the most part and you really don't move that faster compared to normal the way you grapple in so much being to get back out with a knock I think is more beneficial
@NicoDoesLPАй бұрын
It's troll. Zip perk is reduced damage by 50% on zip, which includes zone damage. It's just way more beneficial to take zip every time unless it's pubs and you're farming clips. Even then, Pathfinder has to touch the ground before his knock to refresh grapple, or else it still counts him as mid-grapple.
@kelleroidАй бұрын
Mande explained it before that he would take it if the perk worked correctly, but the way it's coded now is that it only refreshes if your cooldown has begun ticking. Meaning cool grapple->slide kills don't count
