I barely play KL for that reason 😂 every season, I’m playing top 1000-2000 players from apprentice to God. Almost no breaks lol probably two low rank people all season. That shit gets old. Why can’t I match with lower ranks when my KL rank is low? KL can feel like the biggest grind ever.

Question, for omniman jumping into stance, if im a liu motaro main, what are my options?

Best bet is to Motaro teleport, that’s a tough matchup cause both Liu and Motaro have lots of projectiles. Once you teleport, Omni might hit a move so block and punish, and if he doesn’t use anything jump attack Really know great way to deal with it as Liu+Motaro though

Anybody know how punish Omni-Man’s stance with Geras? He doesn’t have a jump teleport like Scorpion. And all his ranged moves whiff to the stance. That matchup seems horrendous for Geras.

@ Thanks man. You don’t have to lab it. I just posted this just in case someone familiar with the matchup happened to come across it. I don’t get to play as much these days with work and other stuff. But when I labbed it before I couldn’t find any decent counters to Omni-Man. I usually just rely on hard reads and guessing on the stance when I come across them in KL, which we all know doesn’t work all the time because you can’t download your opponent 100% of the time.

im in top 1000 maybe a little less than that now since im playing more tekken but i don't think top 1000 is really hard to get you just have to have a decent win rate in ranked (doesn't even have to be positive) and you must play consistently and start to make more reads and adjust cause in mk1 people HATE when you adapt and also like diff said your character being low tier doesn't stop you I have gotten top 1000 consistently with Sub Zero and even top 1 through 100 at one point but I will say if you play a really corny team like pre nerfed homelander ferra it is 100% easier to get high rankings

My opponent and I were one match away from winning a set in KL, I was one round away from winning the set, I ended my combo with Scorpion's Away.2 and couldn't hit confirm, then I tried to go for the fourth wall brutality and the opponent ducked the throw, and punished me, then I missed the punish on Mileena's armor move, and lost the round, and then the next one and the opponent teabagged me. 🗿
