As I frantically battled the relentless demons of Ghosts 'n Goblins at the dimly lit arcade, my heart raced, and my fingers danced feverishly on the joystick. But little did I know that right next door, the eccentric pet shop owner, Mr. Gopendra, had unleashed his latest invention - a squad of roller-skating parrots dressed in mini tuxedos, dancing the cha-cha to a catchy calypso tune. The cacophony of my game over announcements and the parrots' spirited squawking created a surreal arcade symphony that would forever be etched in my memory as the zaniest afternoon in Lake Grove, Long Island, back in 1985.

I love 1/6 scale miniatures. This is a great piece. All the little attention to detail is fabulous. I used to work in an arcade, in Atlanta. When you turned the cabinet around and saw the padlock, I laughed out loud. If the power switch on top were a tiny toggle switch, that would have been sweet. Does it come with a 1/6 scale attendant that you have to call when the coin gets stuck? Need a little drink older on the side. Will the coins rest on the glass? Sorry. Having hardcore flashbacks. MAN, this makes me want to create an arcade shelf with figures, Barbies, G.I.Joes, etc. I made 1/6 LPs for my dad's memorial altar.

😮 I remember throwing my controller at this game on the Genesis, I would buy it just to show people what hard games really were like, the kicker is that once you beat it you have to do it all over again, an exercise in masochism

The original Ghosts and Goblins was only on the NES. You're thinking of Ghouls and Ghosts.

MLP check the new Analogue annoucement. It's NOT just the 64 they are making a version of but all new CRT's and PVM's. The latter is HUGE if they don't price it as niche because this could be an even longer term revenue source for them. Movie watchers as well as gamers would love this. If Analogue was smart it would actually be kickstarted to help get it going to keep the production line costs down.

I already received my mini cabinet. There was two different cabinets available for pre-order. I'm waiting for Berzerk to drop early next year. It plays Berzerk or Frenzy. It also had two different cabinet designs. Sort of neat, but it gets expensive fast.🧐

If the was a 4 players ninja turtles arcade for sure I would buy it. I agree, this is just a display item, it is impossible to play with so small controls, and this games are super hard. When you have a reunion with your friends, you turn it on and put in the shelf, so you can see the demo screen while it is sitting on the shelf, maybe is not so good idea to leave the coins out, probably your friends will try to put the coins inside and some of them will get lost. Si funny, when you don’t agree with anything you throw/toss aside😂😂😂

As a kid I have fond memories of the Ghost n Goblins machine, my uncle would take me with him to the local pool hall and they had a cabinet there and that was where I got parked =)

My one arrived from GAME (UK) on the 31st Oct 2023. GAME have the exclusive for it in the UK. Thankfully the machine comes in 3 boxes so that arcade "this way up" box is fully protected and not used for the delivery address sticker!

I have a pac-man mini arcade with 3 other arcade classics that you have to hotwire internally to make work, and it sucks ASS playing on it. That being said, I always have fun using it.

Do the buttons fire and jump look a bit Crooked / they look a bit covered up by the CPO. ? I think one improvement newwave could add is forward down facing speakers. I would take that over the faux power cable. Would make the sound much better and authentic . I have 2 machines < Street fighter and 1941 , am considering purchasing this one.

Bit of a waste of money tbh. Its too small to enjoy playing and too expensive to be a novelty gift. Anyone who buys one of these will probably turn it on a few times then shove it back in its box or on a shelf where the hassle of charging the thing up for display will lose its appeal very quickly. The price is comically high, there's probably less than $10 of materials in that thing.
