That's a shame that the Toothsome in Hollywood isn't doing as well as the one in Orlando. Let's hope for positive improvements and a new facelift for 2025. Universal certainly has the budget to make the restaurant better, even if a huge chunk of their budget is going towards Epic Universe and Hollywood Drift right now... Maybe once Epic Universe is complete significant changes at the restaurant will start to happen.

I LOVE TOOTHSOME!! But I've heard the food is bad. I've never eaten there. I just like to walk around inside and immerse myself in the steampunk atmosphere 😂 I've been here twice. The first time I went there was an additional candy store. Coming back in November, they closed it and they are adding an escape room. I still like the vibes in there though ⚙️ And yeah I remember those electro swing songs there. I like them but we need Rookburgh quality soundtracks

Everytime we go in there, they say they are completely booked that it will be over 1hr wait, but it’s never full when they say that. So we always just skip it

I actually love Toothsome and never had a bad experience there yet. Also the drinks are damn good and the bartenders super friendly. Can't wait to check out the bar refurb, It was closed a couple weeks ago.

I loved this restaurant when it first open and little by little they took some of my go to items out , smaller portions , and prices going up matter of fact I spoke to a worker their and the worker said they had change the chef 3 times which is bad I hope it they fix it soon

What’s crazy is that the one entree that I genuinely enjoyed from the first year they opened was cut from the menu 😭 To be fair, I do still love the chocolate bread and milkshakes, but yeah the menu items are definitely overpriced and mid considering the price

We went there in October and had the best experience. Best creme brule I've ever had, ruined me for all other versions. Best drinks, and soup was mwaaaaah. Our server was awesome. So...... Respectfully disagree with your take. Sad for your negative experience(s).

First, I never knew this restaurant came from the east coast. I've only seen it at City Walk, never been to Florida. Second, I always wanted to try this place out, but from the looks and the name, it sounds like a sweets only restaurant. On my most recent trip to Universal, last week, my family ate at the Buca Italian restaurant. No one I go with want to try this place out. And last, its always empty when I go. Never see many people going in or leaving. I thought it was closed once, but they were hosting a private party. I don't know if I'll ever try this place out.

The bar was open couple months now, but they closed the side doors for some reason. But I'll admit, the drinks are good. The peasant butter old fashion is my favorite. But that's why I went there was because of the bar only. Food was not all that great. I miss Hard Rock, as I was a pin collector.

To be fair ALL the so called restaurants on city walk are AWFUL and overpriced...Toothsomes has great chocolate bread, good shakes at least. But yeah they need to work on their food and prices. Like Antojitos...why would ANYONE eat there...the food is garbage and way over priced...you can drive a few blocks and get real Mexican food for cheaper...I do not know who thought Florida's mediocre version of Mexican food would be a good idea to bring to Southern California...the best Mexican food in the world...

The service at Toothsome at USH is horrible. They never brought me my shake.... So, they told me it will be on the house and won't charge me for it. That was back in May... It's December, and I'm still waiting for it. Lol. Seriously though, I ended up walking out of there after waiting forever for it. They forgot about my order TWICE. That's such a great space for a restaurant, but I don't think they're the right business to be in there. The place is just boring to eat at too. It should just be a mega-sized In-N-Out. lol

@ Shirley is and that’s what made city walk but now that’s gone. I’m sure it’s almost like a ghost town what I mean is not as busy as it used to be and I miss that giant guitar sitting there. I have to agree with you JP. Both times I have tried this res it was not good and I really wanted to like this place. The food was so-so and I didn't feel a good vibe with the servers. I had the opposite experience with Hard Rock. I hope this doesn't deter Universal from bringing another res from O.

Honestly I am not super surprised to hear that. I was so excited to go back in February of 2023 when I first did the Nintendo preview. First of all, I was waiting over an hour just to get a table and secondly, the service was bad. The food was overpriced and not that great- very average. They didn’t even clean my table and clear plates off after I finished eating 😂. Something’s up with management there. But I have heard from inside sources that Universal food services in the parks and maybe at Citywalk are not well managed.
