Thank you for the allowing us to download these templates Conner. Just downloaded the third resume. Could you tell me how can I edit it without losing the formatting?
@ConnerArdman2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I don't have the original files, but if you open the PDF with Google Docs it actually does a pretty good job of maintaining the formatting.

Hey Conner...Hope You are Doing Well ! Actually I Wanted to Ask You That I am Really Facing Some Problems Solving Questions of JS on Front-End Expert. I Have Done The Crash Course Twice Already. Can You Help Me What Can I Do To Get Better In This Area ? And If I Solve a Problem Seeing The Video Solution Is It Fine ? ThankYou ! Keep Up The Good Work !
@ConnerArdman2 жыл бұрын
It's hard to say exactly what change you might want to make, because everyone is different. One technique I like to use is to start by trying a problem on your own. If you aren't able to solve it, watch the video and follow along. Then come back to the question a few days later and try to solve it again to make sure you retained the information from the video. Hope that helps 😃

Thank you for this video. I’ve been applying for a while but I’ve been getting reject until recently I started reading on how make résumés good enough for recruiter to catch recruiters. Your video is the icing on the cake 🔥 Would you mind doing a résumé review? I’d be glad to send mine over. You could make a video out of it.

Hey Conner, Love your videos man, I'm trying to be decent front-end developer, as an expert on that field what would you recommend me to be focused on, what should I work on to become better, I would love to get your response ❤
@ConnerArdman2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! It depends on your exact goals and what you know so far, but generally speaking I would say focus on fundamentals (i.e.vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript). If you have those fundamentals down really well, then it will be easy to learn different frameworks/libraries down the line. Also, try to put a big emphasis on doing projects. When I was first learning, I think I spent far too much time watching tutorials and not nearly enough time actually working on projects, and that led to not retaining information very well.

what job title did you get at google/FB?
@ConnerArdman2 жыл бұрын
At Facebook I was initially a software engineer intern, then I converted to a full time software engineer. At Google I was offered a software engineering internship, but I turned it down. I also got an onsite interview round at Google for a full time software engineering position, but I ultimately didn’t get it.

Can you post a link to these resumes? Preferably a template
@ConnerArdman2 жыл бұрын
I don't actually have the templates anymore, but I just posted the PDFs used in this video in the description. You should be able to copy-paste them into a Word/Docs document to make a template from them if you want to use them.

Yeah, I interned there twice and worked as a full-time engineer for a little over a year.

Keep your feet on the ground... if you're not a member of the *Order of the Engineers* and you weren't awarded with the *Engineer's Ring* you're NOT an "engineer" even if you work in a FAANG company with that title. It's like people calling you "boss" but you're the one being bossed around. If you were ever given the title of engineer at a company... ESPECIALLY at an intern level, then you know you're being taken for a fool, jerked around and patronized.
