Great video Gem. Datel were well known for Action Replay and Universal Adaptor carts on Megadrive and SNES among others and released many an accessory for home computers including the Amiga. They famously provided a demo of Action Replay on the Dreamcast for an official magazine and it unlocked the region lockout (or enabled the use of copied games) on the Dreamcast - now those demo discs are going for a lot. I'd heard they'd released some unofficial games on the Gameboy but had never seen them before.. Out of what you've seen today, I'd have brought Ultima 4, Heroes of the Lance and Paperboy on the Sega Master System.

Great video as always, and very cool of the store owner to give those game's, even though you told him you wanted to pay, the retro game community heck the whole gaming community is awesome, when everyone comes together like that. The local stores I go to here in California usually give me 10% off, it's not much but who cares, they always thank me for being a good loyal customer, and I have brought friend's to their store's as customers as well, and they are always very thankful

Always really nice to see rare old stuff like that 1981 Casio game in such a good condition for it's age. Beats even my Q&Q King Kong game which is 2 years newer, from Christmas 1983 :)

Yeppers ... Nothing wows me anymore. I've been gaming since the late 70'$ early 80'$ ,and have literally every gaming system under the sun. I've been there when all systems and games were released ,from combat on the 2600 ,to starfield on the Xbox. Even Atomfall barely peaks my interest. However I must say that for me ,the EVERCADE is my current hot fix ,as for just 20 smackers ( or thereabouts) you get a cartridge with anything up to 20+ retro games. I got a saroo drive with every game for my Saturn this Xmas .... And TBH I'm not even that amazed. I personally think that gaming is just going round in circles ,with lackluster hype. IMHO I think the last gaming thing (other than evercade) to impress me was "Rock Band" !!!.

Nice video Gemma, I work at the hospital just round the corner from there, been past it but never been in (to be honest just thought it would be ps2-current gen stuff) I’ll have to check it out. Only problem is, it’s smack bang in one of the worst areas in Leeds, not the best place for a walk 😂

I use To get a Buzz Going to a Game shop in St Johns market in Liverpool who use to Bring in all the Japanese Import Games that were never Released in Uk for Snes as had a converter to play them .wish i Still had some of them games as they be worth a fortune now

I actually like that you don't have a hoarding mentality, a lot of people just collect to let it collect dust. I think that's okay for grails and classics, but all of us at some point need to decide where to draw the line. Loveeee the Power Armor tho, got one myself 😍

Leeds is something I haven't booked as I'm in two minds (Distance coz I'm coming from London, Weather and I'm on my own etc so I'll have a minimal table, might just stick to selling my MD mini and SNES mini mids and boxed special editions etc etc)

Bought Venetica Gold Edition on Steam a while ago on a sale, usually price £6.99. Gave it a test play on my Steam Deck, seems to play it well. Haven’t got round to fully play it yet, looks alright. Also have it on the Xbox 360.

I have almost completed the full PAL list for the Xbox 360. There are two games that are worth over £300 each. I won't mention one of them because I'm currently hunting for it and would like to get it at a lower price, haha! However, the other game is Final Fantasy XI: Seekers of Adoulin. This title is quite rare, and not many people are aware of it.

@TheGebs24 Yep, always! I watch your videos and look up Blades of Time (£140), My Horse and Me 2 (£120), and Tornado (£115). These are just CEX prices; eBay is way higher. I started collecting PAL Xbox 360 games a year ago, just before the price bubble. It's so hard to find the games I need now, but that's the fun of the hunt.
