Bleu de Chanel Parfum is indeed a masterpiece. Clearly niche quality that is very distinctive but so versatile. After 3 years in the fragrance game I finally picked this up last year and couldn’t believe I had waited so long. Put a massive dent in the bottle inside of 3 mos. 😂. I absolutely agree with everything you said. The Bleu De Chanel line is my favorite fragrance line, with the Parfum version being my favorite out of the line. In my opinion, Bleu De Chanel Parfum is the perfect fragrance. Definitely a 10/10.

Great review. I love this line, it’s such a great grab for any situation. I’ve had the parfum and the EDP for a couple of years. Just recently picked up the EDT to complete my collection and I’m really impressed- I think the EDT holds its own. Fizzy and fresh. But that Parfum has a rich elegance that can’t be ignored. It’s a mass pleasing statement maker. Favorite of all time - Ted Lapidus Pokerface. It’s vintage LNDL on the cheap. Have a great day

Had to grab the 5.0🔥🔥🔥.. I will say Dee it’s crazy that I feel all 3 give u something different while being the same scent.. for me the EDP is the one for me because of that sweet grapefruit cloud while maintaining that grown man sandalwood incense on the bottom….Easily number 1. The EDP/Parfum versions of BDC are my all-time favorites as well ever since I smelled them in Sephora. Now they just sort of sit on my counter gathering dust because I just had to open my mouth at work, and now my colleagues got clones that smell eerily similar to the two, and it brings me back to the 'everyone smells like you' days. I now have to wait for their bottles to empty and pray that they go for something else, lol.

Very good review my brother and inspiring, I would say that honestly my favorite fragrance in my collection is Salvatore Ferragamo Invictus Aqua 2018 because it has special meaning to me. I chose this fragrance because in September of 2019 I was hospitalized with major pulmonary embolisms and almost passed away so after that I was off work for 6 months and one day my wife finally got me out of the house and took me to Sephora because she knew that fragrances always made me feel better and I saw this one and fell in love with it and it helped me heal and brought me joy that I didn't have at the time. Thats a very refined review! When it comes to fragrances. i can only pick up a few obvious notes in a fragrance sometimes. like citrus, lavender, vanilla, honey, pear, etc. and i'm mostly only able to tell "thats sweet, thats fresh, thats woody" and that i like it or not like it. but you speak very advanced with a lot of knowledge and sophistication about this. it only makes me even more happy to own blue de chanel Parfum. it got me lots of compliments. but its pricey.

I'm gonna have to get my nose on that Parfum. I got my nose on the EDP in May at Macy's and I came away somewhat disappointed. It smelled good but it didn't really move me and I had it sprayed on my hand so I was able to go back to it throughout the day. I have Sauvage Parfum, Dylan Blue, Acqua Essenziale Blu, Man Eau Fraiche, YSL Y Le Parfum and Bulgari Aqva Atlantique. Sauvage Parfum is still the best smelling to me. But since BDC Parfum has a Pineapple accord in the mid, it could possibly change my mind. Thanks for posting👊

I had to buy my second bottle today at Dillards. Chanel is the go to cologne for men I believe. Yes, it’s a bit pricey but you have to spend money for the best product. I was in a summer fling with this girl I met while working at the Grand Canyon National Park. As soon as she began kissing at my neck she took a pause and a deep sniff 😂😂😂. She couldn’t help the smell of the Chanel fragrance. She ask me “what do I put on my body”. I lied and said that what she smell was my original scent😂. I didn’t want to share what I was using because again it was a summer fling ( 2 months max) and I didn’t want her to get any ideas that her next men needed that cologne. Sup, Ded! While I also really like BdC Parfum, I have 2 issues with it that have stopped me from getting a full bottle, even though I've ran through decants: 1) the type of powder in it has a slight "old lady" vibe, IMO (oddly enough, my fav frag is DHP, which has the "old lady purse"/lipstick thing going on 100%, but I actually LOVE it in that frag) and 2) longevity and projection is as you'd expect for a parfum (i.e. great longevity but close to zero projection after an hour or so). I've got DUA's clone of it, Bleu de Dua Attar, on the way soon, so hopefully that will at least solve the second issue. Great content, as always, sir!

I feel the same. I dislike Chanel as a house. And all mens line, all other BdC. But the Parfum is the pinnacle of the line. This frag is so versatile that it works... always. Any season, any occasion, all people love it. It is the beast blue frag in existance. Since I disliked edt and edp, I stayed away from Parfum. I only recently tried and rwally worn it. It jumped to my favorite 3, along side ADG Peofumo and The One EDP. But yes, even if I had to toss those two and all others I have... BdC Parfum... Id be good and covered wherever I would go. It is the niche version of BdC line. Y and Sauvages and all other blues... they are simply below. Now, if there will ever be an Elixir, I like for it to be like this... take everything from parfum, tone down citrus or replace it entirely with spicy or other woody notes like vetiver. Keep the rest and up up tue woods.

If you’re new to the game let me give you an insight. Chanel wouldn’t do an elixir. They’re high status and they lead the wave and start trends. They won’t make an elixir trust. They will most likely create a new fragrance line though

Kinda similar to my bond with Sauvage Dior.. I remember way back in the day seeing the commercial for it for the very first time and something just told me it was gonna be legend status. Depp repping it idk.. but I went to the mall that day and all the stores said they heard about it but don't have it yet and don't know when. So I left my number and name with all the stores and finally about 3 weeks later felt like 3 months lol they called. I rushed up there to pick it up and first smell I knew it was the one.. it has been my sig scent for years and through all the good times and bad memories of family and friends. Same story I swear.. although I kinda like the EDP better then elixir there isn't anything that will replace the original edt Sauvage imo. Everywhere I went people would stop me. Men , women , couples , married couples.. I know everyone and there brother has it and wears it now and I'll only bring it out for special occasions bcuz it feels like home to me when I smell it.. people say were u at the mall or at Walmart or singles such and such day and I say either yes or no and they be like I knew I smelled you , or I could have swore I smelled you if I wasn't there.. unfortunately I have none of the BDC.
