That was cute AND funny! I kind of expected this to be one of those where the girl runs off with the a-hole then comes crawling back after getting dumped, but this was much better. Eli reporting to Yukiko so Yukiko could tie a knot in her little brothers tail was funny as hell. But Eli should have told Riku what was going on. His jealousy may have been cute for the story, but her continued interest in Kingindo without an explanation to her boyfriend could have gotten ugly. I've known a lot of guys who would have told her if she was that interested in him, go date him! I've also seen the girls after this happened get mad and tell the guy, "why couldn't you trust me?". Too dumb to realize that when you're showing that much interest in another guy with no explanation, you're not giving your man a reason to trust you.

Here is the aftermath of the story. Kingindo did not clean up his act and he got revenge on his whole family. As it turns out, he did the things that he did in order to show the world the scummy things that his family did behind closed doors, so he acted the way that he did in order to get people to notice such things, but the people were too stupid to see that they were being conned by Kingindo's family, so he essentially committed a murder-suicide to make sure that his scummy family never screwed around anyone anymore. Eli and Riku were shocked at this turn of events, but once they pieced together the pieces of the puzzle, it made perfect sense, and they knew that the whole family was a whole bunch of deceitful, ruthless, and manipulative sociopaths. However, they did leave their fortune to Riku and Eli, so they now had a multi-national mega conglomerate to run, which, unfortunately meant more training and experience, but they worked hard on fulfilling the conditions, so they are now set for life. Riku and Eli got married right out of their university and their lives are on the rise in honorable fashions. Yukiko found the man of her dreams in Kenji, a fellow English language classmate, and soon, their love life, and business lives, shot skyward.

I may not be rich, but I always try to make sure to pay for almost everything myself. As it is, I just bought a new cell phone (the iPhone 15 Pro) with my own money, instead of asking my parents. My last cell phone (an iPhone 8), they bought, and I paid them back. I'll be buying a new laptop (a MacBook Pro) with my own money come springtime. Frankly, it's a good thing that Kingindo's parents are handing their business over to his sister instead of him. She is not only smart and wise with her investments, she's also a good person. Kingindo, on the other hand, is a profligate spender, entitled, and arrogant (especially since he tries to steal Eli away from RIku, right in front of him). He'd run the family business into the ground. Hopefully the shrine priest will be able to knock some sense into him, proverbially speaking, and he'll become a better person. Who knows? Maybe he'll meet a miko (shrine maiden) there and try to make an effort to better himself to be worthy of her! It would actually be kind of interesting to see a sequel to this video that explores that very idea!
