My theory for the Rat universe is that... at some point in the past, Putridslug had a terrible accident with Ratskewer. This ended in two ways: either Putrid died, or he was severely injured and in a coma. Rat came out completely unscathed, and feeling guilty for everything that happened, he started to go more and more insane. The voices that had previously stopped returned, and they began to speak non-stop, putting even more ideas into his head. With the intention of ending all this, Rat decides to go save his friend... what harm could it do? [Route where Putridslug was severely injured] Rat takes his car and goes directly to the hospital where Putrid is, disguising himself as a medical employee there, aiming to get to his room. Along the way, he encounters various obstacles, people trying to thwart his plans, a stealth kill, an actual rat appears, and finally a lot of talking and gaslighting. Finally, Rat manages to reach Putridslug's room and sees him lying on one of the beds. He grabs a wheelchair, gently lifts Putrid, and places him in it, and after everything he did in the hospital, he walks out the front door with Putrid in the wheelchair heading to his car. When Rat starts driving, Putrid wakes up and they begin to talk, he reveals that the hospital was drugging him with medications so he would never wake up, and he is happy that his friend came to save him. Both seem happy, and Rat finally fulfills his goal, arriving home with his best friend. {Outside of Rat's view: Crazy from what happened, as soon as he reaches Putrid's room, he grabs a nearby wheelchair and then takes Putrid off the bed he is on. The machines keeping him alive are turned off instantly, and Rat leaves the hospital with Putrid's corpse in the chair, taking it and putting it in the back seat of his car. The entire time he was talking to Putrid's body.} [Route where Putridslug died in the accident] Condemning himself even more for his friend's death, Rat couldn't get the burial scenes out of his head. He remembers being taken away by force and couldn't see his friend being buried because he was out of control. During the time he was at home, the voices became louder and louder, he couldn't sleep, eat, bathe, do anything without them reminding him of all the events. Until at some point, one of the voices he heard was Putrid's voice. Determined, he devised a careful plan, prepared all the tools, and tried to convince some of his friends to help him with it. Alone, since everyone refused, he took his car and left at the date and time he had mentioned to the others. When he arrived at the cemetery, he ran to Putrid's tombstone and started digging incessantly. While digging, he began to hear sounds and voices as if it were someone trying to speak muffled. As soon as he hit the coffin with the shovel, he washed away the last grain of dirt and opened the top of it. To his surprise, this revealed a living Putridslug!! His mouth was covered with tape, and his arms and legs tied with ropes, Rat quickly untied him and pulled him out of the coffin, with Putrid crying with joy that his friend had come. But, at that moment, Rat's "friends" appear (who are no longer friends since they knew everything!). They reveal and ask how Rat managed to discover their plans, and before they could stop him, he quickly ran away carrying Putrid, then fled in his car. Putrid said he owes his life to him forever and had never been so happy. The two are finally reunited, heading to another city to start a new life. {Outside of Rat's view: As mentioned, Rat tried to call some of his friends and revealed his plan, almost all of them understood it as a very bad joke, except one, who alerted the others and called everyone to ensure nothing bad happened. Upon arriving, they had a disgust view of seeing Rat with Putrid's putrefied body on his back. Rat started spitting nonsense, his friends tried to talk, and one of them even ran to hit Rat, who then fled.} Epilogue: In the end, regardless of the Route, Rat is caught and then thrown into a mental asylum, which is the prologue of this video!

Im awful late, i realize that, apologies, but i need to speculate. - rat is actually a schitzophrenic, and has hallucinated every video weve seen. In the snow. The time peroid in which he was hallucinating can vary. We, the veiwers, (chatskewer) are the large eyeball in the sky. And i have to say, the snowy atmosphere reminded me of a roblox game: SCP: site roleplay. A pretty good roleplay game. The snow reminded me of it as in the chaos insurgency base we get one glimpse of the outside: snowy. You cannot actually leave the facility, as the technical (intended) exit only leads to the tram, which takes you around. TLDR? Womp womp, I’m a yapper. Go read it.
