Once/if they do roll this update out at some point, these are probably the 5 ways I could see this going: *1* unlikely - *5* likely 1. Retrodev will change the avatar system so there are no off-sale hats/items and change all faces to be animated, or most likely in this case, just make it use the face the player is wearing. *(5 - probably the most likely option)* 2. Retrodev will remove the custom avatar system entirely, making it use the players Roblox avatar, like how it did in Retroblox. *(3.8 - If they don't do option 1, they will probably do this)* 3. Roblox will reverse the change after backlash (permanently) (sort of like they did with the "Only rthro avatars in game thumbnails" (or something like that) change). (Most preferred option) *(3 - knowing Roblox, this is quite unlikely, but they did it before **_(I think)_** so they could do it again, but is also quite likely because they said they **_stopped_** the update, however, they might resume it later.)* 4. Retrodev keeps the avatar system and keeps it how it is now, and gets banned. *(1.2 One of the most unlikely options, and would probably only happen if the people that work on the game weren't aware of the change. This is practically a 0, but I put it as 1.2, since it is possible and _maybe_ likely, since people would probably notifiy them of it, or they would change it once shutdown. Otherwise, I think they would want to keep their game up.) (Most unpreferred option) 5. Same as option 4, but the game _somehow_ stays up. *(1 - Most unlikely option, though, still possible if Roblox doesn't see this game, aka. it isn't reported (extremely unlikely), but is also possible because it was nominated for an award by Roblox themselfs.)*
