I thought the same thing. Having watched all of the Curious performances, I noticed that most of them use backtracks. I assume this is because the choreography is so intense that it's hard to sing live without gasping for air. That's why you hear a lower percentage of live vocals in these performances. I picked up on this from MR removed videos, which provide some clues. I agree with you-I hope they get a chance to showcase live vocals on platforms like It's Live, Dingo, and others. ☺️

Out of all the 5th gen groups out there I can say Unis is one of those groups that are actually trying and have a good live vocals, yes in some performance there's a split a.k.a backing track and the volume of mic of each members are deferent. And some performance specially in a showcase or a musicshow usually if you watch the broadcast video usually they layered the sounds on top of the original performance. But for that Unis is probably one of the new GG today that can actually sing live.

And you can notice that all rappers has highlighted their vocals here, Yoona/Nana/Gehlee/Kotoko stood up to show vocals. and of course, the line distribution is now stable and fair.
