THIS ROUND GAVE ME DEPRESSION

The FV4005 Is a tank the size of a Barn that shoots a HESH round the size of a live human. Sadly this round does EXTREMELY poor damage half the time, and for a 2 year reload, that is not good at all. Never again...

HESH being as it is now makes no sense. A shot to the side of a Tiger2 turret can be a dice roll sometimes, but hitting either track from the front will kill the entire crew. Thing should just be a souped up HE shell with actual pen, since Gaijin can't figure out what they want to do with it.

Like I completely get not wanting to buff HESH back to where it was unironically BESH, because a round that completely fucks any vehicle without ERA would be annoying to play against, but the damage of the FV4005 is just horrible. Strangely enough, last time DollarPlays played it, it looked fine, no idea what they fucked up with the damage again. Atleast HEAT-FS is nowadays very viable, so hopefully they fix this next.

I remember the one time I ever actually fought an FV4005. It's kind of weird, I've played for years but I've only seen one. It was very funny though. I was rolling around in the doompanzer II, and I lobbed a 155mm HE shell directly into the turret. I thought it would be an easy one shot. Unfortunately, my 155mm ricocheted off the flat turret and flew into the sky, exploding in the air and somehow breaking both tracks. He fired back at me, a direct hit, and the 183mm disappeared in a harmless puff of smoke. Since the FV4005 has no turret traverse I just went around and killed him. A very odd fight to say the least.
