As a Sableye main myself, I judge this man for the items he used, but his spirit's in the right place. But bruh, don't drop Float Stone! Anyway, I think the key to success with Sableye is to actually not try this invading stuff so early in the game and in fact stay in lane. A lot of laners try this bold stacking stuff where they just run up to the goal immediately and try to score, and Sableye is pretty good at punishing that before lane opponents are strong. The idea that Sableye contributes nothing to a team is just a meme, it just takes a little creativity to play well, but the things you can do with vision, stopping enemy engages, and scouting are absolutely unique to the character and very support-worthy. What other Pokemon in the game can have vision information in every single bush on the right side of the Rayquaaza pit simultaneously while also punishing opponents from entering those bushes AND carrying the threat of being able to approach a goal zone undetected at any moment during that same critical fight? It's not always about what you can do as a Sableye, it's about what your opponents think you might be doing.

@@darkSide262 well yeah, but did they put their 5 faint attack casts in all the bushes first? The idea is that you FA all the bushes on the enemy side while your team positions, forcing enemy team to at least reveal themselves and their positions while you then either stay with your team or go score. If you go score, the enemy team has little time to respond to it since you only show up as visible as you approach the goal zone, and when they see you score, they are more likely to try to rush your team and move through your traps, with their positions revealed, allowing your team to kite and focus priority targets etc. You then return quickly and flank the enemy's Decidueye or whatever backline, stunning them long enough for your tank/allrounder to get on top of them. Well, that's the dream anyway, but usually what happens is the enemy Lapras will just coast through all your traps without taking any damage, or your team won't react at all to your flank and will wait for the enemy team to ko you before doing anything, making it look like you just inted. So I personally prefer to stick with my team and continue to throw pellets into bushes, which sometimes forces opponents to get sloppy and try to rush my carries, then I try to CC them/body block/use my ult etc. I think the score-hungry playstyle for Sableye is viable but if you only focus on scoring then you waste a lot of Sableye's utility.

As a Sableye conesour, I like his items, but I think Sableyes should give up on damage. So swap attack weight for exp share and keep the leftovers and float stone. I would use shadow sneak and confuse ray for stun support, and then score when you have the points. With 7 yellow 3 white and 2 attack.

They don't need it. Sable is the WORST pokemon for it. Once the goal breaks, it's going to roam, back cap, and assist in fights. It isn't farming anymore.

@@closeenough1343 Bro you are GOOFING. Exp Share is vital on Sableye for exactly that reason. You are so underleveled without it because you can't farm effectively. And even with roaming you get huge value any time you clear birds or other spare farm with teammates. You know how the item fully works, right?

@pumpkin7446 I do. Sable is mostly alone after goal breaks. That's a fact. He should only be involved in key objectives. Not buddy farming. Put a proper build on him, and he can effectively do his job. It's why so many Sables do so bad. Sable is not like a wiggly or eldegoss. He isn't good when paired up. People can get him killed trying to roam with him. It puts too much pressure on Sable, making his job harder. He's great at scoring and bullying, NOT buddy farming.

Lapras probably has double stacking (Aoes cookie (HP) & Sp. Atk glasses) so this is why Lapras is tankier But Lapras is a defender they're supposed to tank-

​@@kokomi4732 Lapras tanks more than most defenders sure it doesn't have 10k hp at 15 like Greedent but it has half a thousand defense and 420 special defense so any damage is minused by a lot plus its passive where any 1 hit damage that would minus more than 10% is reduced by 20% making it more tanky.
