@@l.3enji.l I don't need to, just the south of Mexico is Maya, culinary speaking we also have Jewish, Lebanese, Spanish , Turkish, and French as big influences to what we call Mexican food, so it's really hard to know the dishes and Ingredients from one region of the country to another, cause they just don't exist, and the "old world" influences might had happened in a region, but not in another. Has nothing to do with Guatemala being part of Mexico at some point or its Maya heritage, "twins are not the same person."

That’s crazy that as a Mexican I’m just now realizing how much we have in common with Guatemala. In the past two years I’ve met two Guatemalan ladies and they’re basically my Chicana sisters 🇲🇽 🇬🇹 we talk the same we laugh at everything! Somos gente alegre de sangre ligera, hard working and we think the same 😂 it’s a trip! I never knew this!

I'm glad to see somebody use the stems on the cilantro. I always use them. Cilantro goes in every salad I make no matter what kind it is. Goes in my enchiladas my tacos and any other food I can think of including Mexican stew.

Orgullosa de que seas Guatemalteco. Me encantan tus videos. Yo soy Guatemalteca, nacida en Mexico con padre Mexicano, nos encanta cocinar pero te cuento que mi papá siempre dice que todo fue inventado en México. Hasta la marimba. Pero en comida yo si prefiero la Mexicana. Aunque nos parecemos mucho. La comida mexicana es más colorida y siento que la comida guatemalteca tiene un poco de nostalgia.(algo le hace falta) aunque es muy rica tambien.
